About the Role

Yodeck is hiring a Content Writer & Editor to join our in-house SEO team in Athens. You will spend most of your day-to-day writing and editing B2B SaaS content: blog posts, solution pages, comparison pages and product explainers about digital signage. The rest of your time goes to SEO and GEO work: on-page optimization, search intent and AI search visibility, both applying what you know and picking up more as you go.

This is a writing role first. You don't need to be an SEO expert to apply. If you are a strong writer who is curious about how search and AI discovery work, we want to hear from you. 

We use AI tools across research, outlining and editing. Your value is in the judgement those tools do not have: knowing what a busy professional actually needs to read, catching the sentence that is technically wrong, and cutting the paragraph that sounds like every other SaaS blog.

Responsibilities

• Write long-form blog posts, solution pages, comparison pages and product explainers using SEO briefs. 
• Rewrite and refresh existing posts that have lost traffic, keeping what ranks and fixing what doesn’t.
• Edit drafts for accuracy, structure, tone and readability. You will be the last line between a draft and a published page.
• Publish and format content in WordPress, while optimizing headings, internal links, images, FAQs and metadata.
• Fact-check product claims against the Yodeck platform and documentation, and sync with Product or Support teams when something is unclear.
• Contribute to GEO work: content that earns citations in ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews, plus adapting content for LinkedIn and YouTube.
• Learn things on the SEO side: keyword research in Ahrefs, SERP analysis, Google Search Console, AI visibility tracking in Peec AI.
• Occasionally write guest posts and contributed articles for our digital PR initiatives.

Requirements

Must have

• Excellent written English. You write and edit clearly, and you can explain a technical setup to a non-technical reader without dumbing it down.
• 2+ years of writing or editing for a business audience: B2B content, product marketing, technical writing, journalism, or a similar background. A portfolio of published work you are proud of.
• Comfort with technical subject matter. Our product is software plus hardware, so you'll write about how things work. You do not need to be an engineer, but you need to enjoy figuring out how things work and be able to follow product documentation.
• Working knowledge of SEO basics: what a keyword is, why search intent matters, what a title tag and an internal link do. Enough to write with SEO in mind, not to run an audit.
• Familiarity with AI writing tools and a clear opinion on where they help and where they fail. You can spot generic AI phrasing and rewrite it in a natural, human voice.
• Reliability. You manage your own pipeline, give realistic estimates, hit deadlines and QA your own work before it goes live.
• Genuine interest in learning SEO and GEO. 

Nice to have

• Experience writing for SaaS or another software product.
• Hands-on experience with Ahrefs, Semrush or Google Search Console.
• Familiarity with GEO and AI search: how ChatGPT, Perplexity and AI Overviews pick sources.
• Experience publishing and formatting content in WordPress or another CMS.
• Some understanding of B2B marketing funnels (TOFU, MOFU, BOFU, MQLs).
• Experience with AI visibility tools such as Peec AI or Profound.
