Job Description:
- Key Responsibilities
- Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:· Developing design plans in response to technical problems posed by a project’s scope.· Providing advice on planning, design and implementation of urban design work· Reviewing and revising master plans and design guidelines· Ensuring key deadlines are met and the project stays on schedule,· Handling the presentation and report development.· Playing a key role in client presentations, client management and client satisfaction.
- Performing advanced professional work related to variety of planning assignments
- Handling complex planning studies, development applications and reviews consultant proposals
- Reviewing project budgets, administers bidding process, verifies contract expenditures and compliance
- Conducting research and preparing statistical reports on land use.
- Developing transportation plans, studies and analyses on regional basis
- Performing field inspections to gather data relevant to the development review process and/or to verify that development projects comply with approved plans
- Scheduling and conducting meetings with advisory boards and elected officials
- Skill Set
- Degree in Urban Design, Landscape Design or related field
- Minimum of 15 years experience in urban design on major infrastructure or rail construction projects
- Ability to perform difficult and complex urban design activities
- § Excellent design, visualization, and graphic skills§ Excellent coordination skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced
- Excellent English written and oral communication skills
