Job Description

Responsible for administering, servicing, and managing risk for assigned fiduciary accounts in accordance with governing documents, state statutes, U.S. Bank policies and procedures, and applicable corporate and regulatory compliance standards. This is a client-facing role in which high-quality client service, communication, and relationship support are critical to effective account administration and retention. Trust Officers engage directly with clients, beneficiaries, and internal partners to understand needs, resolve issues, support service delivery, and ensure accounts are administered with accuracy, sound judgment, and appropriate fiduciary oversight. This role may also include relationship management responsibilities and/or specialized product expertise in areas such as IRAs, charitable and philanthropic accounts, ILITs, estates, and other fiduciary solutions. Trust Officers often work as part of a team of experts, with responsibilities assigned based on account complexity and client needs, and must maintain a strong understanding of Wealth Management products and services to support meaningful client outcomes. Required Qualifications -Bachelor’s degree -10 or more years of experience in Trust administration -A Professional Designation is required and may include, but is not limited to: CTFA, CFP, JD, CPA and/or Graduate of National Trust School Program Desired Qualifications -Advanced Degree -Working towards a Professional Designation, such as a CTFA, CFP, or other relevant professional designations -Commanding knowledge of planning and fiduciary principles, including income, estate and multi-generational taxation and trusts, fiduciary law, tax implications and practices across multiple jurisdictions, trust accounting and reporting, and other regulatory compliance requirements -Ability to manage activities related to estate and trust administration, including account openings, effective reporting, oversight of third-party providers, appropriate fee accruals, and related administrative responsibilities -Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, writing, speaking, and presentation skills -Makes well-reasoned decisions independently, supported by sound fiduciary principles, risk assessment, and appropriate escalation or consultation when required -Balances competing priorities while maintaining focus on client outcomes, service quality, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance -Delivers a consistently high level of service to clients, beneficiaries, and internal partners

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $126,810.00 - 154,990.00
