Vultr · Remote · Remote - United States

Who We Are

Vultr is on a mission to make high-performance cloud infrastructure easy to use, affordable, and locally accessible for enterprises and AI innovators around the world. With 33 global cloud data center locations, Vultr is trusted by hundreds of thousands of active customers across 185 countries for its flexible, scalable, global Cloud Compute, Cloud GPU, Bare Metal, and Cloud Storage solutions. In December 2024 Vultr announced an equity financing at a $3.5 billion valuation. Founded by David Aninowsky and self-funded for over a decade, Vultr has grown to become the world’s largest privately-held cloud infrastructure company.

We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead the end-to-end digital turn-up, onboarding, and validation of our data center infrastructure.

In this role, you will take ownership on driving the logical orchestration required to bring our most complex, large-scale AI data center builds online for production use.

Acting as the critical link between site delivery, core engineering, and platform teams, you will coordinate network setup, storage and compute infrastructure, GPU cluster onboarding, system stress testing, and operational handoffs. Your leadership will ensure our next-generation, high-performance infrastructure is delivered on time, highly stable, and fully optimized.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

1. Program Execution

  • Drive end-to-end execution from hardware power-on to production readiness, managing timelines across automated provisioning, compute, storage, and networking setups.

2. Cross-Functional Orchestration

  • Lead syncs across Network, Compute, Storage, GPU, Platform, and Infra Ops teams to unblock technical issues and align delivery schedules.

  • Serve as the single point of contact for tracking critical path dependencies and managing engineering risks.

3. Solution Productization

  • Partner with engineering to scope, test, and deploy custom, client-requested infrastructure architectures.

  • Help convert unique client requirements into repeatable, standardized product offerings and automated delivery frameworks.

4. Customer & Stakeholder Alignment

  • Interface directly with strategic customer technical teams as the main point of contact for Engineering requirements.

  • Work with Infrastructure Operations, Solutions, Product, and Customer Success to align technical delivery with business commitments.

Qualifications

Technical Depth & Program Leadership

  • Technical Program Management: 10+ years leading large-scale infrastructure deployments, cloud/data center turn-ups, or technical program lifecycles.

  • GPU & AI Infrastructure: Technical familiarity with AI accelerators (e.g., NVIDIA, AMD), high-speed GPU interconnects, and cluster topologies.

  • Networking, Compute & Storage: Strong knowledge of data center networks (BGP, leaf-spine), Linux systems, and distributed storage.

  • Execution & Rigor: Proven track record managing complex dependencies, implementing validation testing, and meeting strict deadlines.

Strategy, Business & Communication

  • Ambiguity Navigation: Ability to create structure out of uncertainty, identify bottlenecks early, and drive solutions.

  • Communication & Influence: Strong written and verbal skills, with a proven ability to align cross-functional teams and leadership.

  • Data-Driven Problem Solving: Analytical mindset using metrics to track program health and make decisions.

Education & Certifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or master's degree is a plus.

  • Certifications: PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification preferred, but not required.

Inclusion & Privacy
