Title and Summary

Senior Technical Program Manager

We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to help drive execution, alignment, and delivery across Dynamic Yield’s Product House organization. This role sits at the intersection of Product, R&D, and leadership, ensuring that strategy is translated into clear, realistic, and executable plans.
The Senior Technical Program Manager will lead complex cross-functional programs, enable quarterly planning and execution cadences, manage dependencies and risks, and create transparency through dashboards, KPIs, and operating rhythms. In this role, the candidate will join a team of Technical Program Managers who work in close coordination, share methodologies, and continuously improve common practices across the organization. The ideal candidate brings strong technical understanding, structured program leadership, excellent stakeholder management, and the ability to move teams from ambiguity to accountable execution.

Role

• Translate strategy into execution: Partner with Product and R&D to convert product strategy, technical initiatives, and other priorities into clear quarterly execution plans.
• Lead quarterly planning: Facilitate planning timelines, deliverables, ownership, dependencies, and risks across Product Area teams.
• Drive cross-functional alignment: Align Product and R&D Directors, Architects, DevOps, Security, and leadership around shared priorities, scope, timelines, and tradeoffs.
• Manage dependencies and risks: Identify cross-product and technical dependencies early, surface delivery risks, drive mitigation plans, and ensure leadership has the visibility needed to make timely decisions.
• Create execution transparency: Establish dashboards, reporting mechanisms, and operating cadences that provide visibility into progress, delivery confidence, blockers, and outcomes.
• Improve ways of working: Help mature Agile operating model, planning templates, ceremonies, and delivery governance to improve predictability, accountability, quality, and business impact.
• Support backlog health: Partner with Product and R&D to ensure quarterly backlogs are prioritized, refined, estimated, technically aligned, and executable within team capacity.
• Facilitate decision-making: Bring structure to complex discussions, clarify ownership, document decisions, and ensure follow-through on action items.
• Enable value-driven delivery: Connect execution plans to measurable business, technical, and customer outcomes, including quality, productivity, engagement, velocity, and customer value.
• Communicate effectively: Prepare concise, executive-ready updates, program reviews, status reports, retrospectives, and planning materials for Product House and senior leadership forums.

All About You

• 4+ years of experience in technical program management, program management, or a related role within a software or SaaS organization.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile delivery, quarterly planning, backlog management, and cross-functional execution.
• Proven ability to manage complex technical programs involving multiple teams, dependencies, stakeholders, and competing priorities.
• Experience working closely with Product, R&D, Architecture, DevOps, Security, and senior leadership.
• Ability to understand technical concepts, architectural tradeoffs, engineering constraints, and delivery risks, and translate them into clear business and execution implications.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without authority.
• Strong analytical and operational mindset, including experience with KPIs, dashboards, delivery metrics, risk tracking, and executive reporting.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity, creating structure, and driving teams toward clear ownership, decisions, and outcomes.
