Maintain an organized inventory of local, state, and federal property tax returns to support timely filing, tracking, and compliance. Develop, document, and update tax filing procedures to reflect current requirements and promote consistent processes. Identify and implement process improvements that streamline data collection, reporting, and filing for monthly, quarterly, and annual tax obligations. Collaborate with internal departments and management to research tax issues and develop practical solutions for complex matters. Support the Director of Tax & Compliance by assisting with year-end income tax workpapers, business license renewals, and state annual report filings.

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of three years tax experience with a public accounting firm. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with an emphasis in Accounting is required, while a Master’s degree in Accounting with a concentration in Tax is preferred. Five years of relevant experience in indirect tax and compliance is highly desirable. Previous experience with multistate property tax, business licenses, state registrations, tax audits, or income tax workpapers is a plus.
