Join Cushman & Wakefield's Asset Services team and play a key role in delivering exceptional property management services across a diverse commercial property portfolio. As a Senior Surveyor, you will be responsible for protecting and enhancing the value of client assets through effective property management, strong stakeholder engagement, and the delivery of industry-leading service standards. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced property professional looking to manage high-profile assets while building lasting client and occupier relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring assets are operated efficiently and in line with client objectives.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, occupiers, asset managers, and other key stakeholders.

  • Prepare and deliver management reports, providing clear analysis and recommendations.

  • Oversee tenant liaison activities, including lease-related enquiries, alterations, assignments, and subletting requests.

  • Manage rent, service charge, and other income collection processes, working to achieve agreed collection targets.

  • Prepare, monitor, and manage service charge budgets, reconciliations, and non-recoverable expenditure.

  • Ensure compliance with lease obligations and support the delivery of landlord and tenant requirements.

  • Conduct regular property inspections and identify opportunities to enhance asset performance.

  • Collaborate with facilities management teams to maintain compliance with health and safety legislation and company procedures.

  • Support sustainability initiatives, including the development and implementation of property-specific environmental plans.

  • Monitor contractor performance and contribute to procurement and contract management activities.

  • Identify opportunities to add value for clients while maximising fee income and service delivery standards.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Proven property management experience within a commercial real estate environment.

  • Strong understanding of landlord and tenant matters, service charge management, and lease administration.

  • Experience preparing client reports, budgets, and financial information.

  • Knowledge of multi-let commercial properties, investment portfolios, retail assets, or similar property sectors.

  • Experience managing property portfolios is desirable.

  • Sound understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.

  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and deliver excellent service to clients and occupiers.

Qualifications and Education

  • RICS qualification, or an equivalent property management qualification, is desirable.

  • Relevant professional property management experience will also be considered.

  • Continued professional development and commitment to industry best practice are advantageous.
