What you’ll be doing

You will lead end-to-end Supply Chain Operations across the UK and Ireland, with responsibility for customer service, logistics execution, inventory optimisation and distribution performance across wholesale, pharmacy, retail, Amazon and e-commerce channels.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead, coach and develop the UK Supply Chain Operations team, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee logistics, customer fulfilment, inventory management, replenishment and distribution planning.
  • Build and deliver the annual Supply Chain Operations roadmap in line with commercial priorities and growth plans.
  • Act as the key Supply Chain partner for Commercial, Finance, Quality, Regulatory, Demand Planning, Supply Planning and Global Supply teams.
  • Own inventory governance, stock accuracy, reconciliation, batch traceability and operational controls across ERP, 3PL and digital fulfilment platforms.
  • Lead major transformation initiatives, including Order-to-Cash insourcing, EDI integrations, warehouse tenders, warehouse transitions, network optimisation and systems improvements.
  • Manage the performance of 3PLs, carriers and fulfilment partners against service, cost, compliance and contractual targets.
  • Support the S&OP process by aligning inventory, customer demand, supply capability and operational priorities.
  • Monitor and improve KPIs including OTIF, customer service, inventory accuracy, logistics cost, inbound performance and fulfilment.
  • Drive cost-saving, process improvement and operational excellence initiatives across warehousing, transportation and distribution.
  • Ensure strong stock availability for product launches, promotions, Amazon, e-commerce and wider commercial growth initiatives.
  • Manage logistics and warehousing budgets, inventory provisions, accruals and working-capital performance in partnership with Finance.
  • Lead issue resolution and escalation management across warehousing, transport, inventory and customer fulfilment.
  • Ensure operations comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements and Good Distribution Practice where applicable.

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain leader who combines strong operational knowledge with the ability to drive change in a fast-paced, international environment.

You should bring:

  • A degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong leadership experience within logistics, planning, customer operations or broader supply chain functions.
  • Experience managing outsourced warehousing, third-party logistics providers, carriers or fulfilment partners.
  • Proven experience delivering supply chain transformation, warehouse transitions, network changes or operational improvement programmes.
  • Experience with customer EDI, ERP integrations or Order-to-Cash processes.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, replenishment planning, distribution networks and customer fulfilment.
  • Experience working with ERP, WMS and reporting tools such as Power BI.
  • Commercial awareness and experience balancing service, cost, inventory and working-capital priorities.
  • Experience from FMCG, consumer healthcare, pharmaceuticals, medical devices or another regulated, fast-moving industry.
  • Experience working across multiple sales channels, ideally including wholesale, pharmacy, retail, Amazon Vendor, Amazon Seller and e-commerce.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and project leadership skills.
  • The confidence to influence senior stakeholders, challenge constructively and build strong cross-functional relationships.
  • A proactive, resilient and hands-on mindset, with the ability to manage multiple operational and strategic priorities simultaneously.
  • A strong customer focus and commitment to delivering consistently high service levels.
