Job Title: Senior Supervisor, Maintenance

Work Pattern: Full-Time - Must be available to work shifts and/or flexible hours. This position has a traditional work schedule (Monday – Friday)

Working Location: Aiken, SC

What you will be doing:

  • Interprets corporate policies to workers and enforces safety regulations while complying with terms of contractual labor agreement.
  • Maintains departmental attendance and overtime records.
  • Keeps management abreast of progress, developments and pending problems.
  • Coordinates activities of skilled tradesmen and schedules work with other departments
  • Manages preventive maintenance programs/procedures and utilizes a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, electrical, or civil engineering or a business major operations/facilities management related field and 5 years supervisory experience; or 9 years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong leadership skills
  • High level of oral and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with computer applications and/or controlled systems.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Completion of recommended company-training programs.
  • Knowledge of total productive maintenance principles.
  • Knowledge of ISO/QS-9000 requirements.
  • Familiarity with "Lean Manufacturing" principles

  • Specific vision requirements for this position include close vision, and the employee must have the ability to adjust focus.
