About this Senior Study Start Up Associate role at ICON plc

- Support clinical trial start-up, maintenance, and close-out activities to ensure sites are ready to enroll participants.
- Coordinate clinical trial authorizations, ethics submissions, budgets, contracts, investigator payments, and other finance-related processes.
- Provide local support to complement centralized Taiwan SSU Centre activities and ensure alignment with local requirements.
- Maintain inspection readiness by ensuring compliance with GCP, local/regional requirements, sponsor procedures, and TMF ownership expectations.
- For Senior Associate level, manage high-priority or complex studies, oversee submission status, coach junior team members, and act as SME for payment/process improvement topics.
- SSUA: at least 1 year of clinical trial or relevant experience preferred.
- Senior SSUA: at least 3 years of clinical trial or relevant experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of site activation, regulatory/ethics submission, contract/budget, finance, and inspection readiness processes.
- Must have initial site contract experience.
- Ability to work with regional teams and provide local operational support.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a scientific, medical, or health-related field.
