Senior Software QA (Manual Testing)

Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Software Quality Engineer with 6-10 years of manual testing experience to ensure high-quality product releases through requirement analysis, test execution, database validation, and production issue investigation. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about leveraging AI to improve quality engineering outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end testing for assigned features and releases.
• Analyze business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to identify gaps, risks, and test scenarios.
• Utilize AI-assisted tools to enhance requirement analysis, test design, test data preparation, and coverage.
• Design and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end test cases.
• Validate backend data and business logic using PostgreSQL/MySQL queries.
• Investigate and resolve client-reported issues in collaboration with support and development teams.
• Track defects through resolution, retesting, and regression testing.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to streamline test documentation, reporting, and QA knowledge management.
• Promote an AI-First Quality Engineering approach by improving QA processes through intelligent testing practices and automation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 6-10 years of Software QA experience with strong manual testing expertise.
• Strong SQL and database testing skills (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
• Experience in requirement analysis, defect management, and production support.
• Experience using AI-assisted tools for requirements analysis, test documentation, test case generation, test automation, or quality engineering activities.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and software testing best practices.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the US Healthcare domain.
• API testing experience using Postman or Swagger.
• Experience leveraging AI for requirements analysis, test case generation, documentation creation, test automation acceleration, defect analysis, and quality reporting.
• Demonstrated AI-First mindset with a track record of improving quality, efficiency, and innovation through AI-assisted testing practices.
• Experience mentoring QA team members.
• Experience testing data-intensive or analytics-driven applications.
