Job Details:

Purpose

Lead the technical strategy, administration, support and continuous improvement of our TechnoMile SIMS software development by serving as the the primary technical resource for maintaining and enhancing SIMS while designing and implementing automated business workflows that improve operational efficiency in the organization.

Responsibilities

SIMS Administration & Support

  • Serve as the primary technical administrator and support resource for the TechnoMile SIMS software suite.

  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot SIMS functionality, user issues, permissions, and system performance.

  • Data entry, validation, reporting, and business process support to include onboarding and out-processing for staff within SIMS.

  • Perform root-cause analysis and resolve application, database, and integration issues.

  • Coordinate software upgrades, testing, deployment, script functionality, and release management activities.

  • Develop documentation, user guides, and technical procedures.

Workflow Automation & Business Process Improvement

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated business workflows using BP Logix Process Director.

  • Analyze organizational processes and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.

  • Create workflow forms, approval processes, notifications, dashboards, scripts, and reporting solutions.

  • Integrate workflow processes with SIMS and other enterprise applications.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Maintain workflow documentation and change management records.

  • Recommend enhancements that improve automation, reporting, data quality, and operational efficiency.

  • Evaluate new technologies that support enterprise workflow automation.

  • Assist with strategic planning for future SIMS capabilities and business automation initiatives.

Database Development & Integration

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server stored procedures, views, functions, and scripts supporting SIMS.

  • Write optimized SQL queries to retrieve, transform, validate, and update enterprise data.

  • Develop database automation processes supporting workflow and application integration.

  • Ensure database integrity, security, and performance.

  • Assist with database troubleshooting and performance tuning.

  • Support data migration, imports, exports, and synchronization activities.

  • Participate in software development lifecycle activities including testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Systems Integration

  • Develop integrations between SIMS, BP Logix, and other enterprise applications.

  • Build automated interfaces using SQL, APIs, scheduled jobs, and scripting technologies.

  • Support system interoperability and data exchange across multiple platforms.

  • Troubleshoot integration failures and implement corrective actions

Other related functions as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Business Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Production experience with at least two computer programming languages.

  • At least three years of software development experience including two years related to complex systems and one year of system administration.

  • Three years of experience supporting enterprise business applications.

  • Experience administering or supporting Microsoft SQL Server environments.

  • Experience writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and database scripts.

  • Experience troubleshooting software applications and databases.

  • Experience analyzing business processes and implementing technical solutions.

  • Strong understanding of relational database concepts and data modeling.

  • Experience with software testing, debugging, and production support.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative development environment.

  • Project Management experience

  • Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting the TechnoMile SIMS software suite.

  • Experience developing workflows in BP Logix Process Director.

  • Experience integrating enterprise applications using APIs, web services, or database integrations.

  • Experience with Microsoft IIS.

  • Experience with Microsoft PowerShell scripting.

  • Experience with C#, .NET, or other object-oriented programming languages.

  • Experience developing SSRS reports.

  • Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration tools.

  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI).

Salary Range

$110,000-$115,000+/negotiable depending on qualifications
