We are looking for a passionate wet-lab scientist with a background in molecular biology and experience with various NGS assays (RNAseq, DNAseq, methylation, etc). We are open to candidates with varying levels of education and experience. The title and level of the position will be determined based on the experience and expertise each candidate brings.

Role Overview:

  • Work with the Innovation team to provide support to research projects
  • Triage emerging technologies, with the goal of optimizing and implementing those that show potential for near-term clinical utility
  • Design, develop, and implement novel and clinically relevant laboratory techniques
  • Work collaboratively with the informatics team in the analysis of genomic and other multi-omic data generated by the group
  • Help facilitate collaborations and research opportunities with scientists and clinicians at MSK

  • Effective at working when presented with complex, and sometimes contradictory, information
  • Excellent organization skills with the ability to  prioritize work to meet commitments aligned with organizational priorities
