We are looking for a hands-on Senior QA Automation Engineer to help deliver high-quality experiences across our trading platforms and business-critical products. You will design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web and mobile applications while partnering closely with Engineering, Product, and QA teams to ensure fast, reliable, and high-quality software delivery. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex testing challenges, has strong coding skills, and is passionate about leveraging modern automation techniques and AI-driven tools to continuously improve quality and engineering efficiency.
Your EDGE Assignment/You Will
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web and mobile applications using TypeScript, WebdriverIO, and Appium.
- Develop reliable automated test suites covering functional, regression, smoke, API, and end-to-end testing scenarios.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to understand requirements, identify automation opportunities, and ensure quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and continuously improve execution speed, reporting, and reliability.
- Investigate test failures, identify root causes, and distinguish between product defects, environment issues, and automation framework improvements.
- Contribute to test strategy, release readiness, defect triage, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in code reviews and promote automation best practices, coding standards, and framework enhancements across the QA team.
- Support both manual and automation testing activities where required while driving increased automation maturity across the team.
- Explore and implement AI-powered testing tools and automation solutions to improve testing efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Are you the one?
- 5–8 years of hands-on experience in QA Automation Engineering within product-based environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript, WebdriverIO, and Appium.
- Strong understanding of automation framework design, object-oriented programming, and test automation best practices.
- Experience testing REST APIs and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong coding and logical problem-solving skills with the ability to solve scenario-based technical challenges.
- Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Ability to work independently while mentoring junior QA engineers and driving automation excellence.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skill
- Experience with Playwright.
- Experience building automation utilities or AI-powered testing solutions.
- Exposure to fintech, trading, payments, or other high-transaction digital products.
- Experience with cloud-based device/browser testing platforms.
