We have an exciting new opportunity to join Edelman Argentina as a Senior Public Affairs Director!

We currently operate under a hybrid work model, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely.

📍 Our office is located in Palermo, Buenos Aires.

Below, you will find the key responsibilities and requirements for this position.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop public affairs strategies aligned with our clients' business objectives.
• Provide strategic counsel on regulatory, political, and reputational matters.
• Monitor the political and regulatory landscape, identifying emerging trends and delivering actionable insights to clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, regulatory authorities, and other key stakeholders.
• Contribute to new business development initiatives and the growth of existing client accounts.
• Oversee project execution, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to deadlines.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating effectively with internal teams.
• Support the development of integrated communications strategies and campaigns.
• Foster a collaborative working environment, demonstrating sound judgment, strategic thinking, and a results-oriented mindset.
  

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in public affairs, government relations, or strategic communications.
• Previous experience in agencies, the public sector, corporate environments, or consulting firms.
• Strong understanding of Argentina's political, institutional, and regulatory landscape.
• Proven experience in client relationship management and handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Interest or experience in business development, commercial initiatives, and account growth.
• Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Communications, International Relations, Law, or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in dynamic environments and work collaboratively across teams.
• Advanced (fluent) English proficiency, both written and spoken.
