About the role
As a Senior Project Manager (IT), you will lead the end-to-end delivery of complex IT projects, from initiation and planning through to implementation, transition and closure. You will bring a strong delivery focus, practical problem-solving skills and disciplined project governance to a complex, highly collaborative environment.
This is a high-impact opportunity to lead two key enterprise technology initiatives:
Data Warehouse & Analytics: Lead the implementation of a new data warehouse and analytics platform, coordinating vendor, business and technology teams
Workday HRIS: Lead the internal delivery and change components of a new Workday HRIS platform, working closely with a vendor-led implementation.
Key responsibilities will include:
Leading cross-functional business, technology and vendor teams to deliver agreed outcomes.
Managing scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, issues, dependencies and quality.
Establishing and maintaining project plans, governance, reporting and delivery controls.
Coordinating testing, change readiness, training, cutover, implementation and transition to support.
Managing vendor relationships and delivery performance.
Providing clear, concise reporting and escalating risks, issues and decisions early.
Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and business owners.
About you
You will be an experienced Senior Project Manager with 5+ years’ experience delivering complex enterprise IT projects and a strong track record of managing projects from initiation through to successful implementation.
You will bring:
Experience delivering Data Warehouse, Lakehouse solutions
Experience with the implementation of HRIS platforms
Strong practical project management and governance capability.
Experience leading enterprise technology projects and cross-functional teams.
Proven vendor and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
Experience delivering technology-enabled business change, including change readiness and adoption.
Professional project management certification preferred.
Experience with Databricks preferred.
Health experience preferred.
Experience in healthcare or a hospital environment is desirable, but not essential.
