Job Description

Participate in design reviews, design verification and validation, monitor results and guide risk ensuring Product/Software meets the established standards of quality including reliability, usability and performance required. Assure quality Products/Software and Processes by establishing and enforcing quality standards, testing, materials controls through trends analysis, risk identification, uses of tools and data. Passionate with Technical Hands-On activity (Hardware/Software/Manufacturing) and be responsible for ensuring product launch with best quality and processes in place in Manufacturing.

Establishes the quality strategy, gains support, prioritize and leads execution of the strategy. Prepare and present regularly on the project quality status. Act as a role model leading and driving continuous improvement and standardization of best practices in the organization to achieve best-in-class quality by moving quality to the left. Support the organization Quality Management System.

Apply Quality Engineering principles together with AI to enabled quality engineering across Design Development and Manufacturing, driving high-value use cases such as intelligent test optimization, anomaly detection, predictive quality, failure pattern recognition, and digital process automation. Leverage data, domain knowledge, and scalable analytics to improve decision velocity, strengthen risk prediction, and deliver measurable productivity savings aligned with APBC transformation priorities and ISC/QME goals.

You will report to Quality Manager based in Singapore.

Your Responsibilities:

  • You will Oversee the Product/Software quality strategy across NPI, continuation engineering, customer issues and improvement projects.
  • Support design, verification, validation, code, drawing and specification reviews to identify risks and ensure quality requirements are met.·
  • Partner with engineering, manufacturing, service and suppliers to drive risk mitigation and product/process robustness.·
  • Manage CTQs and apply Quality Engineering, APQP, DFSS, DfR and FMEA methods.·
  • Plan, execute and report reliability testing such as HALT and ORT.·
  • Troubleshoot product, module and reliability anomalies, including hands-on electrical and mechanical failure analysis.·
  • Lead RCFA, corrective/preventive actions and cross-functional resolution of systemic root causes.·
  • Ensure product and process readiness for mass production and flawless launch.·
  • Support ISO 9001 audits of products, procedures and work instructions.·
  • Identify AI, analytics and automation opportunities across design, test, quality and manufacturing workflows.· Convert engineering/process data into scalable use cases that improve defect detection, test efficiency, capability and productivity.·
  • Provide regular quality status updates, manage barriers and escalate when needed.·
  • Collaborate throughout the company and cultures with urgency, integrity.
  • Support company policies, values and compliance requirements.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Quality and Design within electronics and/or software development.
  • Broad technical background working with engineering, manufacturing, service and suppliers globally.
  • Good understanding of electronic manufacturing, assembly and test processes.
  • Working knowledge of product development cycles, quality tools and risk-based quality practices.
  • Experience supporting or auditing ISO 9001 quality systems in electronics manufacturing.
  • Ownership, accountability, integrity and commitment to quality delivery.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methods such as Scrum, SAFe or Lean Startup.
  • Advanced statistical and quality tools experience.
  • DFSS, Six Sigma Black Belt or Reliability Engineering certification.
  • Hardware design and manufacturing experience in automotive, aerospace or consumer electronics.
  • CMMI or ASQ CSQE certification.
  • Experience with AI, GenAI, Machine Learning, analytics or digital automation in engineering, test, quality or manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with data pipelines, model validation, visualization and scalable solution deployment.
