About this Senior Product Manager, Web Growth role at Monzo

Monzo · Onsite · London

🚀 We’re on a mission to make money work for everyone.

We’re waving goodbye to the complicated and confusing ways of traditional banking.

After starting as a prepaid card, our product offering has grown a lot in the last 10 years in the UK. Our UK customers can also save, invest and combine their pensions with us.

With our hot coral cards and get-paid-early feature, combined with financial education on social media and our award winning customer service, we have a long history of creating magical moments for our customers!

We’re not about selling products - we want to solve problems and change lives through Monzo ❤️

📍London/Hybrid | 💰 Salary range £100,000 - £125,000 + Incentive Awards tied to your performance + benefits ✨

What you’ll be working on:

As a Senior Product Manager for Web Growth, you will deliver the future of how people first discover Monzo and start their journey with us on the web. This is a rare opportunity to shape Monzo’s largest digital front door, leading your squad in high-velocity, customer-centric experimentation that scales our top-of-funnel acquisition.

You will own our web acquisition domain across monzo.com: how we land, educate and convert millions of visitors into active customers. For our team, this means optimising the web signup funnel, eliminating friction, and personalising landing journeys so every visit leads into a measurable onboarding path.

You will set the vision, craft a high-signal strategy, and establish the experimentation engine across our web platform to turn ambition into reality. We are looking for someone who pairs an analyst's data rigour with exceptional product craft, thrives in high-velocity execution, and can inspire teams to deliver amazing customer outcomes.

🔑You’ll play a key role by...

  • Leading the charge: build a product vision and strategy for monzo.com, ensuring alignment with Monzo’s goals and an exceptional customer experience.
  • Communicating effectively: you get people inspired by the web growth vision and you share the right context with the right people at the right time.
  • Collaborating seamlessly: partner with engineering, design, data, research and marketing across Monzo to create a strategy and deliver.
  • Delivering impact: define, deliver and measure the impact of the web experiences you create.

🤩 We’d love to hear from you if…

  • You are an experienced product manager, and have led high-performing teams to ship high-converting web experiences and acquisition funnels at a fast growing company.
  • You have a track record of leading consumer web efforts that drive significant top-of-funnel value, turning visitors into active customers.
  • You are exceptionally data-driven and commercial, with a high bar for rapid experimentation.
  • You have a track record of collaborating with data scientists to build attribution models, run multi-variant tests and measure downstream activation.
  • You can systematically break down and solve complex problems.
  • You have good judgement, and have a track record of making good decisions in complex situations where there’s often no “right answer”.
  • You have the urge and resilience to challenge the status quo and make things better, and are full of creative ideas for how to do so.
  • You can work effectively with a diverse range of people and working styles - spanning engineering, design, data, user research, marketing, legal and compliance - to get stuff done.
  • You’re a great storyteller, who is able to motivate, energise and inspire people towards a common goal.
  • You’re passionate about building value for customers and not just achieving business results, and are excited about our mission at Monzo.
  • You’re intellectually honest about your work's performance, continually striving for improvement.
  • You’re a fast learner, humble and curious, and enjoy learning every day and sharing your knowledge and experience.

Not ticking every box? That’s totally okay! Studies show that women and people of colour might hesitate to apply unless they meet every single requirement. At Monzo, we’re dedicated to creating a diverse and welcoming team. If you’re passionate about this role and keen to learn and grow with us, we encourage you to apply— even if you don’t have everything that's listed just yet. Drop us your application, we’d love to hear from you!
