About this Senior Product Manager role at Seven Starling

Seven Starling · Remote · Remote

Seven Starling is revolutionizing women's behavioral health through our clinically-validated virtual care platform. As a venture-backed, rapidly scaling startup at the forefront of maternal healthcare innovation, we've developed a groundbreaking clinical model that combines specialized therapy, peer support, and medication management to effectively treat perinatal mood disorders. Our approach delivers exceptional results — 90% of patients experience clinically significant symptom improvement.

We've established strategic partnerships with leading health plans including UnitedHealthcare, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Aetna, plus a growing network of OBGYN clinics nationwide, positioning us for accelerated growth in the $50B+ women's behavioral health market.

About the role

We’re hiring for a Senior Product Manager — a strategic, execution-minded builder who will be a core member of our Product team. This is a high-impact role reporting directly to the VP of Product and partnering closely with the engineering team and cross-functional roles to design and scale the systems and experiences that power our precision mental health care model.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in product management and thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. We're looking for a mission-driven and resourceful self-starter who excels at turning complex problems into clear, scalable solutions. You should be a strong communicator, deeply curious about user needs, and comfortable experimenting with AI tools to build systems and documentation from the ground up. Experience in digital health and early stage startup environments is strongly preferred.

If you're an experienced product professional with a strong commitment to our mission, we want to hear from you. Join us in paving the way for expanded access to high-quality women's mental healthcare!

What you'll do

  • Own our end-to-end product development process, from user research and scoping to execution, QA, and post-launch measurement and iteration

  • Conduct deep user research with patients, clinicians, referring providers, and internal team members to understand their pain points and needs

  • Develop clear, actionable PRDs and prototypes to define product specs and workflows that meet the needs of cross-functional stakeholders and set clear objectives for the engineering team to execute on

  • Lead product launches, partnering closely with engineering, operations, and clinical leads on training, documentation, and process updates to ensure seamless rollout and adoption of new products and tools

  • Own the tools that run our patient journey, from third-party survey and communication platforms, to EHR templates and the automations tied to scheduling, screening, and care coordination

  • Use AI tools to accelerate your own work and continuously innovate on how we build as a team, from research and documentation to prototyping and design

  • Define and monitor success metrics for core tools and services that we build, including data analysis, dashboard creation, and company-wide impact reporting

  • Partner with our VP of Product and other senior leaders to inform roadmap planning and strategic prioritization

  • Who you are

  • You are a senior-level individual contributor (IC) with 5+ years of experience in product management, ideally with a significant portion of that time in digital health

  • You have a track record of owning complex, cross-functional products from problem definition to launch

  • You’re comfortable with ambiguous, early-stage environments, and excited to be a part of a small team developing product strategy, process, and tools

  • You’re both empathetic and systems-oriented — equally energized by speaking with users and by designing scalable, backend workflows

  • You actively use AI tools to move faster — you’ve used agentic tools to actually build or prototype, not just ask questions — and you’re excited to continue experimenting with new tools and ways of working

  • You’re adept at configuring complex logic within third-party operational tools — marketing automation, survey and form platforms, our EHR, and beyond

  • You are a strong communicator, writer, and collaborator who brings clarity and structure to fuzzy challenges. You love working cross-functionally with passionate team members of different backgrounds

  • You’re passionate about healthcare, mental health, and/or women’s health, and motivated by impact

  • Must haves

  • 5+ years of product management experience, including at least 2+ years owning core product areas end-to-end

  • Experience building or scaling tech-enabled services in a fast paced startup environment (strong preference for digital health or consumer product experience)

  • Comfort using AI tools as a core part of how you work, without ever compromising patient privacy, clinical accuracy, and the trust our users place in us

  • Deep empathy for patients, clinicians, and care teams — and a commitment to building with care

  • Details

  • Full-time; remote

  • The compensation estimate for this position is between $135,000 to $150,000

  • Perks and Benefits

  • Competitive paid time off

  • Competitive parental leave policy

  • One-time stipend to enhance your work from home experience

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance

  • 401K

  • Bereavement leave, including for miscarriage and pregnancy loss

  • Annual stipend for your choice of wellness benefits

  • Annual professional development stipend

  • Virtual team events
