How will you make an impact & Requirements

‎

The Senior Product Manager helps Millennium Physician Group's Shared Services teams improve how work gets done and how products perform in daily use. Reporting to the Senior Product Manager - Shared Services, this role takes hands-on ownership of assigned product delivery and operational improvement work, including workflow discovery, requirements, testing, rollout, user support, and performance tracking.

The Senior Product Manager provides delivery direction and assigns priorities within the established roadmap. The Product Operations Lead independently leads defined workstreams, coordinates follow-through with operational owners, and recommends improvements based on frontline feedback and data. Changes to scope, priorities, investment, or major vendor commitments are escalated to the Senior Product Manager for the appropriate leadership decision.

What You Will Do

·   Observe frontline work, interview users, and map workflows, handoffs, exceptions, and sources of data. Identify practical improvements using process changes, existing platforms, integrations, automation, or AI.

·   Turn operational needs into clear requirements, user stories, workflow diagrams, and acceptance criteria. Maintain assigned backlog items and confirm requirements with the Senior Product Manager and operational stakeholders.

·   Lead assigned workstreams from discovery through implementation. Maintain delivery plans, coordinate tasks with developers, vendors, and operational teams, track dependencies, and surface risks and decisions early.

·   Coordinate testing using real operational scenarios. Validate data, permissions, handoffs, and exception handling; document defects, track resolution, and organize user acceptance testing and readiness reviews.

·   Prepare and maintain standard operating procedures, job aids, training materials, and release communications. Run demonstrations, support rollout activities, and help teams adopt updated workflows.

·   Support the ongoing operation of deployed products and workflows. Triage user issues, distinguish defects from training or process gaps, route items to the appropriate owner, and track resolution and recurring problems.

·   Use spreadsheets, reporting tools, and SQL or comparable analytical tools to establish baselines and monitor adoption, turnaround time, quality, manual effort, and automation performance. Investigate variation and recommend corrective actions.

·   Partner with frontline teams and accountable operational owners to address workflow bottlenecks, clarify handoffs, and follow through on agreed improvements. Assess whether changes resolve the underlying issue and sustain the intended results.

·   Use AI and automation tools in daily work to support analysis, documentation, prototyping, and process improvement. Test outputs and limitations, follow approved data-handling practices, and involve the appropriate partners when human review or additional safeguards are needed.

·   Keep product documentation, issue logs, and action items current. Provide concise updates to the Lead Product Manager on progress, user feedback, adoption, results, and decisions needed; coordinate with IT, data, security, and clinical partners as appropriate.
