What you will do: 

  • Define and evolve the enterprise Data & Analytics architecture vision, standards, and multi-year roadmap, leveraging Azure, Databricks, and Lakehouse principles to deliver secure, scalable, and cost-efficient platforms.
  • Lead architecture for complex, business-critical initiatives spanning multiple domains, ensuring seamless integration and harmonization of SAP and non-SAP data across the enterprise ecosystem.
  • Design and modernize enterprise data solutions that accurately replicate complex operational processes while supporting both current and historical business data needs.
  • Drive large-scale transformation programs by migrating commercial, manufacturing, and compensation reporting platforms to governed, Azure-native architectures and overseeing legacy platform decommissioning.
  • Establish and govern enterprise-wide architecture standards, including data lineage, classification, security, access controls, integration frameworks, and data governance practices.
  • Ensure all solutions meet regulatory, compliance, and security requirements, including SOX, GxP, SDLC, validation, and change management standards.
  • Partner with senior Engineering, Product, and Business leaders to shape technology strategy, evaluate emerging technologies, and define the future direction of the data platform landscape.
  • Advance the organization's AI readiness by enabling governed enterprise data consumption, semantic models, retrieval-augmented solutions, and responsible adoption of generative and agentic AI capabilities.
  • Serve as the highest-level technical authority for complex architectural decisions while championing best practices, reusable design patterns, and engineering excellence across teams.
  • Represent Data & Analytics in enterprise architecture forums and mentor Principal Architects and senior engineers, fostering architectural maturity, innovation, and technical leadership across the organization.


What you need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field required; advanced degree
  • 14+ years of experience in Enterprise Data Architecture, Solution Architecture, or Data Engineering, with a proven track record of defining and delivering enterprise-scale technology strategies and multi-year transformation roadmaps.
  • Deep expertise in Azure, Databricks, Lakehouse architectures, and modern cloud data platforms, with hands-on experience building secure, scalable, and governed data ecosystems.
  • Strong experience integrating SAP and enterprise ERP platforms across commercial, supply chain, manufacturing, and finance domains, coupled with expertise in data governance, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to architect and lead complex, cross-functional transformation initiatives, translating ambiguous business challenges into pragmatic, future-ready technology solutions.
  • Advanced knowledge of data modeling, analytics, and BI architectures, including Lakehouse design patterns, data warehousing, semantic models, and enterprise reporting frameworks.
  • Understanding of emerging AI and Generative AI technologies, including enterprise knowledge retrieval, vector search, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and modern AI platform architectures.
  • Proven executive leadership skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, drive architectural governance, build consensus across diverse teams, and communicate complex technical concepts to business leaders.
  • Recognized as a trusted technical leader and mentor, with experience elevating architecture practices, coaching senior architects and engineers, and fostering engineering excellence across the organization.
  • Certifications such as TOGAF, Azure Solutions/Data Architect, Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric are highly preferred.
