As a Senior Cloud Platform Technical Analyst, you will serve as a key technical leader responsible for the design, operation, reliability, security, and continuous improvement of our Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) platform and related Azure PaaS ecosystem. You will drive the delivery of scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure, partnering closely with development, network engineering, and product teams to enable efficient application deployment and operational excellence. In this role, you will lead platform automation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and infrastructure modernization initiatives while providing technical guidance, mentoring junior team members, and influencing cloud infrastructure strategies. Position Responsibilities

  • Operate, maintain, and design end to end delivery of mission critical Azure Kubernetes ecosystem and ancillary components.
  • Develop and collaborate on the build, deployment, automation, and monitoring processes to empower teams to deliver business value quickly and reliably.
  • Setup and maintain Azure PAAS service configurations (AKS, APIM, ASE Event Hub, Logic Apps).
  • Manage Platform security & access.
  • Create and maintain AKS components (Clusters, Nodes, Pods, etc).
  • Collaborate in the development of infrastructure management strategy (define disc space, load balancer, traffic manager).
  • Design and develop operations support processes specifically as it pertains to supporting cloud infrastructure & Azure PAAS.
  • Implement tools and processes to support quality metrics and provide visibility to stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to streamline and improve adoption of Kubernetes and Cloud.
  • Work closely with development and network engineering teams and product owners to fulfill infrastructure operational needs.
  • Provide support, improve, and implement Kubernetes internal components and applications on top of multiple clusters and troubleshoot and triage issues as they arise.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot issues in the Kubernetes environments.
  • Passionate about root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Develop and collaborate on the build, deployment, automation, and monitoring processes, leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines to empower teams to deliver business value quickly and reliably.
  • Fosters a collaborative Customer-centric culture and ensure the team regularly celebrates successes.
  • Mentor and empower junior team members.
  • Shift Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday – 8am to 5pm PHT
  • Work Setup: Hybrid – Required to work on site 3 days per week
  •  Location: Quezon City

Required Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in infrastructure or platform support roles.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with AKS, Docker, or Kubernetes environments.
  • Experience with CLI Tools and AKS commands.
  • Strong familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery tools.
  • Experience working with APIs and understanding software architecture.
  • Good communication skills and desire to be a team leader.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Azure PAAS services (e.g., APIM, ASE, Event Hub).
  • Exposure to Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud monitoring tools.
  • Strong understanding of Kubernetes microservices and Azure PAAS offerings, architectures, and internal components
  • Production Kubernetes experience creating Clusters, Namespaces, Pods, Service Principals, and other AKS objects.
  • Experience with Docker & Containers
  • Comfortable with managing multiple stakeholders and conflicting priorities.
  • Collaborative attitude, willingness to work with team members; able to coach, share skills and methods.
  • Understanding of cloud architecture and security principles.
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
  • Effective communicator with a collaborative mindset and customer-centric approach.
