Salary: $121,568.00 to $125,507.00 Pro-rata + Super + Salary Packaging

About the role
- Provide specialist Occupational Therapy advice to guide the treatment of relevant patients across hospital services, supporting care within the district and collaboration with other hospitals across NSW
- Contribute to multidisciplinary planning, service development, quality improvement, research activities, and evidence-based practice initiatives
- Provide clinical leadership through supervision, mentoring, and support of Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapy students
- Lead the planning, evaluation, and continuous improvement of Occupational Therapy services, including monitoring outcomes, activity data, and service effectiveness
- Ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality patient care through professional practice standards, stakeholder collaboration, and connection of clients with relevant services
About you
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy with current AHPRA Occupational Therapy registration and a current Class C Driver’s Licence
- Strong clinical assessment skills, including home modification, equipment prescription, and delivery of evidence-based interventions to promote safety and maximise independence at home
- Ability to evaluate, plan, and implement clinical services incorporating continuous improvement, WH&S principles, data analysis, research, and evidence-based practice
- Highly developed organisational, prioritisation, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing clinical and administrative demands
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and computer skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and advocate for Occupational Therapy services
