Network Security Engineer
Role Overview
We are looking for a Network Engineer. The ideal candidate will play a key role in protecting our infrastructure, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data, and supporting the company’s security strategy through the implementation and monitoring of advanced network security solutions.
Responsibilities
- Manage and troubleshoot web filtering policies (Zscaler, Cisco Umbrella, etc.).
- Resolve complex networking issues and support network architecture/design.
- Monitor network health in a NOC-style environment.
- Assist with SIEM and WAF platforms (optional but a plus).
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Network Security Engineer or Network Infrastructure Engineer.
- Proven expertise as a Zscaler SME, with hands-on experience in ZIA and ZPA design, deployment, and troubleshooting.
- Strong experience in SIEM operational environments and network security monitoring.
- Deep knowledge of core networking fundamentals: DNS, routing protocols, subnets, and network architecture/design.
- Hands-on experience managing enterprise network security tools (Firewalls, VPNs).
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex web filtering policies and network connectivity failures.
- Experience working in Tier 3 support roles or NOC monitoring environments.
