As a member of the Global Talent Development team, the Senior Manager, Talent Development will have the opportunity to shape development experiences at pivotal points in the General Manager (GM) pipeline—from preparing aspiring General Managers for future opportunities to helping new in role General Managers accelerate their effectiveness. Working in close collaboration with Talent Development and Talent Management partners, this role translates broader GM development and talent priorities into engaging, scalable, technology-enabled development experiences for leaders across our global organization.

The Senior Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of the Aspiring General Manager Program and the enterprise transition enablement experience for new in role General Managers. Through these experiences, the role helps leaders build the capabilities, insights, and practical understanding needed to prepare for and succeed in GM roles, while ensuring alignment with the broader General Manager development journey and talent strategy. The role also works closely with executive sponsors and subject matter experts to keep development connected to business priorities and relevant to the realities of the GM role.

What you will do:

  • Manage the end-to-end planning, implementation, and delivery of the Aspiring General Manager Program and enterprise transition enablement experience for new in role General Managers, collaborating across Talent Management and Global Talent Development to ensure alignment with the broader General Manager development journey and talent strategy.
  • Develop and manage plans, timelines, milestones, communications, stakeholder engagement, resources, and dependencies to ensure effective execution and delivery of assigned development experiences across global audiences.
  • Collaborate with instructional design partners to create engaging learning experiences that meet learning objectives, audience needs, and established experience standards, integrating blended and self-directed approaches.
  • Design and implement manager enablement strategies that equip managers to actively support participant development through coaching, reinforcement, and meaningful opportunities to apply learning on the job.
  • Engage business leaders, subject matter experts, and executive sponsors to shape relevant content, panels, speaker events, and other leader-led experiences aligned with business priorities.
  • Facilitate blended learning experiences for global manager and senior leader audiences that promote active engagement, peer learning, and practical application across virtual and in-person environments.
  • Develop and manage participant and manager evaluations to assess learning effectiveness, application, and impact, using feedback and insights to drive continuous improvement.

How you will get here:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 6+ years of experience in Learning & Development, with demonstrated experience in Talent Management or Human Resources, including experience supporting or implementing talent management strategies, processes, and practices.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex programs and projects from planning through implementation, delivery, measurement, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience designing and delivering blended learning experiences for global audiences, integrating self-directed digital learning, live virtual learning, and in-person experiences as appropriate.
  • Experience partnering and consulting with senior business leaders, HR partners, and cross-functional stakeholders in a global, matrixed organization.
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating learning experiences for managers and senior leaders for a global organization.
  • Experience using NovoEd or a comparable digital learning platform to manage and deliver learning experiences, as well as AI-enabled tools that support learning design, content development, program delivery, and productivity.

Expectations

  • Knowledge of talent management practices and ability to connect talent strategies, processes, and insights to development experiences that strengthen critical talent pipelines and accelerate readiness.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and ability to use data, participant and stakeholder feedback, and emerging practices to identify opportunities and improve learning experiences and outcomes.
  • Collaboration and consultative skills, with the ability to work effectively across Talent Development and Talent Management teams and consult with and influence senior business leaders, executive sponsors, and subject matter experts to deliver relevant, high-quality development experiences.
  • Program and project management skills, including the ability to translate strategy into actionable plans, manage multiple priorities and dependencies, and drive effective execution of complex, global development experiences.
  • Learning judgment and communication skills, with the ability to shape and facilitate relevant, engaging blended learning experiences that focus participants on the content, activities, and practical application opportunities that provide the greatest value.
