Role Description:
The Sr. Manager, Strategic Business Analytics is responsible for owning and advancing Oak Street Health’s enterprise performance reporting ecosystem, ensuring leaders across the organization have timely, accurate, and actionable insights to drive decision-making. This role serves as the operational leader for delivery of Blueprint, the OKR dashboard, and Center Performance reporting, while building scalable reporting processes and automation capabilities that reduce manual effort and improve consistency.

The role acts as the primary point of contact for strategic analytics requests, balancing ongoing reporting commitments with emerging business priorities. In partnership with Business Intelligence, Governance, Operations, and cross-functional stakeholders, the Sr. Manager ensures reporting solutions remain aligned with governed metric definitions and organizational objectives.

This leader will oversee a team of analysts, manage reporting infrastructure and bridge solutions, and drive the transition from manual reporting processes to scalable, automated delivery models that support Oak Street Health's continued growth.

Core Responsibilities:

• Own the delivery, accuracy, and timeliness of Blueprint, OKR Dashboard, and Center Performance reporting.
• Manage and maintain the Report Repository, ensuring all reporting assets remain current and aligned with governed metric definitions.
• Serve as the first point of contact for ad hoc analytics and reporting requests, establishing priorities and managing intake processes.
• Lead and develop a team of analysts responsible for recurring reporting, special projects, and strategic analytics support.
• Oversee the inventory of bridge reporting solutions and track sunset plans to ensure temporary solutions are replaced by sustainable alternatives.
• Drive automation initiatives that reduce manual reporting effort, improve efficiency, and minimize risk of reporting errors.
• Partner closely with BI Governance and business stakeholders to support reporting standardization and data integrity.
• Create scalable reporting processes and operating mechanisms that support enterprise growth and evolving business needs.
• Provide leadership-facing insights and recommendations based on reporting trends and performance outcomes.
• Manage competing reporting priorities while ensuring high-quality deliverables across multiple stakeholders.

What are we looking for?

• 5+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, reporting, strategy, healthcare operations, or a related field.
• Demonstrated success leading recurring executive-level reporting or performance management programs.
• Strong people leadership experience with a track record of developing and managing analyst teams.
• Experience building, automating, and maintaining reporting solutions using tools such as Tableau, Google Sheets, SQL, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and balance recurring deliverables with ad hoc business requests.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
• Experience driving process improvement and reducing reliance on manual reporting processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to present insights to senior leaders.
• Experience working in highly collaborative, cross-functional environments.
• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• Healthcare, value-based care, or population health analytics experience preferred.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$82,940.00 - $182,549.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
