Are you the person we are looking for?

We are looking for a strategic & operational, people‑first leader to guide our EMEA Field Application Engineering team. This is a chance to influence some of the most advanced embedded systems on the planet, from surgical robotics to next‑generation industrial automation, while shaping a team that thrives on technical depth, customer impact, and collaborative execution.

What You’ll Lead & Deliver

  • Drive Revenue Growth — Accelerate adoption of QNX platforms and services across top robotics, medical, and industrial accounts.
  • Strengthen Strategic Relationships — Become a trusted technical partner to key customers, ensuring our solutions align with their most complex engineering challenges.
  • Champion Technical Excellence — Guide your team through sophisticated pre‑ and post‑sales engagements, ensuring clarity, quality, and confidence at every stage.
  • Develop & Empower Your Team — Mentor a diverse group of Field Application Engineers, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Represent QNX Across EMEA — Speak at regional events, trade shows, and webinars, elevating our presence and influence in the embedded ecosystem.
  • Drive Process & Tool Innovation — Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve methodologies, and enhance how we support customers.

What the Role Looks Like Day‑to‑Day

  • Act as the bridge between customers and QNX R&D, Product Management, and Engineering Services.
  • Guide technical strategy alongside Regional Sales Managers and your FAE team.
  • Architect and deliver demos, benchmarks, design reviews, and early development support.
  • Oversee customer programs from concept through commercial release, ensuring responsiveness and technical clarity.
  • Present compelling technical content both virtually and on‑site.
  • Maintain competitive intelligence and feed insights back into Marketing and Sales.

What You Bring

  • Leadership experience managing technical sales or FAE teams.
  • Embedded systems expertise — ideally with RTOS, real‑time programming, C/C++, or low‑level development. QNX experience is a strong asset.
  • Customer‑facing technical experience bridging engineering and business needs.
  • Linux development familiarity and comfort with modern embedded toolchains.
  • Strong interpersonal skills across cultures and languages.
  • Experience in medical, robotics, or industrial markets is an asset.
  • Knowledge of competitive RTOS solutions (Wind River, Green Hills, Vector) is a plus.
  • Ability to travel ~25% across EMEA.

What You’ll Gain

  • A competitive compensation, commission, and benefits package.
  • The chance to work with state‑of‑the‑art embedded technology trusted by the world’s most demanding industries.
  • A collaborative, engineering‑driven culture where your leadership directly shapes customer success and team growth.
  • A role where your impact is visible, your expertise is valued, and your career can accelerate.

The work we’re doing is not incremental—it’s foundational, and it’s accelerating. Come join us!
