About this Senior Manager, Digital Marketing role at Resorts World Las Vegas
As Senior Manager of Social Media for Resorts World Las Vegas, you will own the resort's social media voice, strategy and performance across every channel. You will lead the social team within Marketing & Communications, the in-house agency that serves every department on property, from hotel and casino to dining, nightlife, retail and entertainment.
This role sets the direction, not just the calendar. You will build a social presence that reflects who Resorts World Las Vegas is today: bold, modern and always on, with content that ranges from polished brand storytelling to fast, lo-fi, in-the-moment video. You will turn data into decisions, protect the brand's reputation in real time, and position Resorts World Las Vegas alongside the most compelling luxury and lifestyle brands, inside and outside hospitality.
Primary Job Duties: Includes but is not limited to:
Strategy and leadership
- Own the annual and quarterly social media strategy for Resorts World Las Vegas, aligned with resort business goals, brand standards and integrated marketing campaigns.
- Lead, coach and develop the social media team, setting clear priorities, accountability and growth plans for each team member.
- Serve as the social media lead within Marketing & Communications, partnering with Marketing Partners, PR, Creative Services, Digital, Email and Photo/Video to deliver integrated work for client departments.
- Present strategy, performance and recommendations to department and property senior leadership.
Content and channels
- Direct content from ideation through publishing across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, X, LinkedIn and emerging platforms.
- Build a content mix that balances elevated brand storytelling with fast, lo-fi, trend-driven and creator-style video.
- Deliver a weekly content calendar
- Write and approve copy that reflects the Resorts World Las Vegas brand voice, and brief Creative Services and Photo/Video on design and production needs.
- Keep every channel within brand standards and the Marketing & Communications approval process.
Community, reputation and crisis
- Oversee daily community management and social guest care, escalating guest issues to the right departments.
- Monitor the resort's social reputation and sentiment, and flag risks early.
- Lead social response during crisis and sensitive situations in partnership with PR and senior leadership.
Performance and insights
- Set KPIs for each channel and campaign, and own monthly, campaign and executive reporting.
- Use social listening and analytics to sharpen strategy, prove ROI and spot new opportunities.
- Track platform changes, algorithm shifts and industry trends, and adjust channel strategy accordingly.
Partnerships and compliance
- Partner with PR on influencer and creator programs, and ensure all paid partnerships and promotions meet FTC guidelines and platform rules.
- Plan and run social promotions, contests and paid social support in support of business objectives.
- Build strong relationships with property departments, entertainment partners and outside agencies.
- Perform other job-related duties as requested.
Qualifications: Includes but is not limited to:
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Proven record of building and executing social strategies that grew audience, engagement and business results.
- Experience leading, mentoring and holding accountable a team of social media professionals.
- Strong copywriting and editorial judgment, with a sharp eye for brand voice.
- Hands-on fluency with short-form vertical video, including lo-fi, trend-based and creator-style content.
- Experience with enterprise social management and listening platforms such as Sprout Social, Sprinklr or similar.
- Strong analytics skills, with the ability to turn data into clear insights and recommendations for senior leaders.
- Experience managing multiple complex campaigns across multiple brands or venues at the same time.
- Working knowledge of paid social, FTC endorsement guidelines and platform policies.
- Sound judgment in reputation and crisis situations, and comfort escalating issues quickly.
- Strong project management skills to juggle priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills.
- Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut or similar editing tools, and photography skills a plus.
- Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge of company and department rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Preferred:
- Experience leading social for integrated brand campaigns in hospitality, gaming, entertainment, nightlife or luxury.
- Previous experience in a large, luxury integrated resort or multi-venue brand.
- Experience working within an in-house agency model, serving multiple internal client departments.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field.
Minimum Education and Experience:
- At least 21 years of age.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of seven years of experience in social media marketing, content or community management.
- Minimum of three years of people management experience leading a social media or content team.
Certificates, Licenses, Regulations:
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
