The Role 

Are you highly collaborative, enjoy building community, have experience in delivering engaging content and programming and can demonstrate the value of a peer-to-peer community? We are a small, high-performing team where ownership is shared and team members can comfortably drive strategy and day-to-day execution on deliverables.  

This Senior Manager will be a part of the Community and Engagement Center of Excellence, responsible for the planning, execution, and success of key community initiatives that deepen member engagement, strengthen community health, and deliver data and insights that inform continuous innovation and improvement of member and client programs and content.   

Key areas of responsibility include: 

• Oversee planning of programming across Fidelity Institutional client segments and communities to ensure consistent approach to integrate peer-to-peer opportunities in all client events.  

• Lead the development and execution of community engagement strategies that increase member participation, drive peer-to-peer engagement and create value for members.  

• Develop and manage high-impact community programs/events, research initiatives, member cohorts and member committees to keep community engaged and informed.  

• Monitor and analyze community engagement metrics, KPIs to assess performance and identify opportunities for growth. 

• Oversee ongoing community platform health, including content management, discussion moderation, and turning member conversations into useful business insights.  

• Contribute to quarterly scorecards and reporting to deliver executive-level insights that demonstrate community impact and outcomes. Build frameworks for measuring program effectiveness, engagement trends, and member outcomes. 

• Establish and maintain community governance processes, operating procedures, and best practices that support scalable community operations. 

• Monitor industry trends and emerging community management practices to drive innovation. 

The Expertise and Skills You Bring 

• 8 plus years of experience in community management, program management, member engagement, customer/community experience, association management, or related fields. Experience in program development, content development, event planning, content coordination, or marketing. 

• You will have the opportunity to build trust and credibility across stakeholders while fostering a culture of teamwork and shared accountability. 

• Salesforce and/or Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience a plus. 

• Experience managing a community platform a plus.  

• You are a motivated and organized individual with the ability to support multiple projects simultaneously. 

• Collaboration is essential—you work well with partners throughout all stages of the event planning process. 

• You bring a customer‑first mindset to your work, focusing on solving customer needs throughout the event lifecycle. 

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study. 

• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence outcomes across multiple stakeholders.

This dynamic and collaborative event marketing team is part of Fidelity Institutional and Asset Management marketing organization, supporting institutional investors and financial intermediaries (banks, broker dealers, registered investment advisors). Our team is passionate about raising the voice of Fidelity in the marketplace by driving an event marketing strategy aligned to our business goals and objectives. We develop event experiences that will provoke conversation and help drive action, ultimately to help our clients succeed and grow. We partner with various groups across Fidelity to ensure we bring the best to our customers.  

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
