Role Summary 

LSEG's Customer Consulting team partners with customers to solve complex business, data and technology challenges while accelerating the adoption of LSEG solutions across global financial markets. 

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Business Consulting to lead Low Latency and Enterprise Data Solutions consulting activities across the Asia Pacific region. This highly visible, customer-facing role combines strategic solution consulting, business development support and technical leadership. 

The successful candidate will work closely with Sales, Account Management, Product, Customer Success and Delivery teams to help customers design, evaluate and adopt LSEG's low latency market data and enterprise data solutions. The role is primarily focused on pre-sales consulting and business growth, while also supporting strategic customer implementations and onboarding activities where specialist expertise is required. 

This position will engage with leading exchanges, banks, hedge funds, asset managers, proprietary trading firms and market infrastructure providers across APAC. 

Key Responsibilities 

Business Development & Solution Consulting 

• Act as the regional subject matter expert for LSEG's Low Latency and Enterprise Data Solutions portfolio. 

• Partner with Sales and Account Management teams to identify, shape and advance strategic opportunities across APAC. 

• Lead customer discovery workshops and business consultation engagements to understand customer requirements and challenges. 

• Design and articulate solution strategies that align customer objectives with LSEG capabilities. 

• Support complex sales cycles through demonstrations, solution presentations, proofs of concept, RFPs and RFIs. 

• Develop business cases and value propositions that demonstrate measurable customer outcomes. 

• Establish trusted advisor relationships with senior business and technology stakeholders. 

• Partner closely with Product Management, Business Development, and Engineering teams to influence product strategy, provide market feedback, shape solution roadmaps, and ensure alignment between customer requirements and product capabilities. 

Strategic Solution Leadership 

• Provide thought leadership on market data architecture, low latency infrastructure and enterprise data management practices. 

• Advise customers on operating models, deployment approaches and best practices for consuming and distributing market data. 

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to represent customer requirements and influence future product direction. 

• Support competitive positioning and market differentiation efforts. 

Customer Delivery & Adoption 

• Provide consulting leadership for strategic customer implementations and onboarding activities. 

• Support project teams with solution validation, architecture guidance and technical oversight. 

• Assist customers in maximizing adoption and business value from LSEG solutions. 

• Help resolve complex customer challenges and support critical escalations when required. 

Practice & Regional Leadership 

• Contribute to the growth and development of the APAC Customer Consulting organization. 

• Support regional enablement and mentor consultants and solution specialists. 

• Share best practices and reusable assets across customer engagements. 

• Represent LSEG at industry conferences, customer events and executive briefings.

Required Qualifications & Experience 

Essential 

• Significant experience within capital markets, market data, trading technology or financial technology environments. 

• Strong understanding of real-time market data distribution, low latency infrastructure and enterprise data architectures. 

• Proven experience in customer consulting, pre-sales, solution engineering, professional services or related customer-facing roles. 

• Strong knowledge of trading workflows and market data consumption across buy-side, sell-side or exchange environments. 

• Strong hands-on C++ software development experience, including the ability to explain and demonstrate the integration of a C++ library within customer applications. 

• Strong working knowledge of Linux-based development and production environments. 

• Strong understanding of hardware and software architecture for low latency systems, including network stacks, packet processing and ring buffer architectures. 

• Ability to engage effectively with both executive stakeholders and technical audiences. 

• Experience leading complex solution discussions involving multiple business and technology stakeholders. 

• Strong presentation, communication and consulting skills. 

• Demonstrated ability to influence customer decisions and support commercial growth objectives. 

• Ability to travel across APAC as required. 

Preferred 

• Additional software development experience in Java or Python. 

• Experience with cloud-native architectures and modern data platforms. 

• Knowledge of exchange connectivity, electronic trading and low latency application environments. 

• Experience with market data licensing, governance and enterprise data management. 

• Previous experience working with Tier 1 financial institutions, exchanges, asset managers or proprietary trading firms.
