Who we are looking for

A passionate and commercially aware individual with experience delivering complex business transformation programmes. You will combine Microsoft Purview expertise with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, manage senior stakeholders, and drive organisation-wide change. You will be equally comfortable defining strategic roadmaps, leading large-scale delivery programmes, and helping organisations embed sustainable behaviours through governance, training, awareness, and operational change. 

What you’ll be doing: 

You’ll be working across a variety of clients in a range of industries, whilst also collaborating closely with internal teams across Bridewell.  

Your core focus will be leading the delivery of Microsoft Purview-enabled transformation programmes, helping clients improve data governance, protection, compliance, and risk management capabilities. You will provide leadership across the full programme lifecycle, from strategy and roadmap development through to technical implementation, user adoption, operationalisation, and benefits realisation. 

This role requires the ability to lead large-scale change initiatives involving technology, processes, and people. You will work closely with executive stakeholders to define strategic direction whilst ensuring successful delivery through effective programme governance, stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and behavioural change activities. 

From auditing and optimising existing deployments to designing and implementing scalable compliance architectures, you will provide strategic, programme and technical leadership across projects, acting as a trusted advisor, transformation lead and subject matter expert. You will help clients successfully deliver technology, process and organisational change, ensuring Microsoft Purview capabilities are effectively adopted and embedded within the business. 

Specific tasks may include: 

  • Leading complex Microsoft Purview transformation programmes that span technology implementation, process improvement, governance development and organisational change. 
  • Defining strategic roadmaps and implementation plans that enable clients to improve data governance, compliance, information protection and risk management capabilities. 
  • Managing project delivery activities across multiple workstreams, ensuring delivery milestones, risks, dependencies and customer objectives are effectively managed. 
  • Designing and delivering Microsoft Purview adoption programmes to support successful user engagement, behavioural change and long-term business value realisation. 
  • Developing and delivering stakeholder engagement, communications, training and awareness activities to support organisation-wide change initiatives. 
  • Supporting customers in establishing governance frameworks, operating models, policies and processes required to embed Microsoft Purview capabilities into day-to-day operations. 
  • Providing strategic guidance to senior business and technology stakeholders, aligning technical solutions with organisational objectives and regulatory requirements. 
  • Leading workshops with executive, business and technical stakeholders to define requirements, priorities, success measures and future-state operating models. 
  • Managing and mentoring delivery teams across multiple engagements, ensuring high-quality outcomes and supporting consultant development. 
  • Supporting the growth of Bridewell's Microsoft Purview services through capability development, thought leadership and contribution to go-to-market initiatives. 

Requirements

What we're looking for

  • A people-first approach to leadership, with experience managing, mentoring and developing consulting teams. 
  • Demonstrable experience leading complex transformation programmes involving people, process, governance and technology change. 
  • Demonstrable experience with Microsoft Purview across core compliance areas, including:  
  • Data Loss Prevention (DLP) 
  • Information Protection (Sensitivity Labels, encryption, etc.) 
  • Insider Risk Management 
  • eDiscovery & Communication Compliance 
  • Data Lifecycle Management & Records Management 
  • Information Barriers 
  • Demonstrable experience with Azure and Microsoft cloud services. 
  • Experience defining strategic roadmaps and translating business objectives into technology-enabled solutions and outcomes. 
  • Experience delivering Microsoft Purview projects from strategy and design through to implementation, operationalisation, user adoption and ongoing improvement. 
  • Experience developing and delivering stakeholder engagement, communications, training and awareness programmes to support organisational change. 
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior technology, risk, compliance and executive stakeholders. 
  • Experience managing programme risks, dependencies, priorities and delivery outcomes across multiple concurrent engagements. 
  • Experience delivering customer-facing presentations, workshops and recommendations to senior stakeholders and decision makers. 
  • Ability to lead, and support others in delivering, large-scale transformation programmes, ensuring successful outcomes across technology implementation, governance improvement, user adoption and culture change. 
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and customer engagements simultaneously. 
  • An ability to simplify complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes and practical recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences. 
  • A passion for problem-solving, collaborative team working and developing innovative solutions that deliver measurable customer value.

Location: Bridewell operates a hybrid and flexible working policy, however you will be required to travel to different sites on occasion.
