What will you do?
As an experienced Senior Power Platform Developer you are responsible for the design, development, and implementation of Power Platform solutions that are reliable, supportable, and delivered to agreed quality, SLA, and delivery expectations as well as provide solution support.
Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’:
Application Engineering
- Design, develop, secure and extend Power Platform solutions and reusable solution components from build through test, release, and hypercare support.
- Monitor assigned apps, flows, usage, failures, and licence indicators; act on issues within agreed timeframes.
- Resolve incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs, escalating blockers, risks, and dependencies early.
- Deliver solutions that meet approved requirements, follow standards, and pass review/testing with minimal rework.
- Maintain clear support notes, technical documentation, release records, and knowledge articles.
- Identify recurring support issues and contribute practical improvement or automation opportunities.
Technical Leadership
- Take ownership to evaluate technical requirements and advise on solutions and alternatives to meet business needs.
- Demonstrate delivery ownership by managing assigned work, communicating progress, and closing actions reliably.
- Apply agreed patterns, secure software engineering practices, and lifecycle processes consistently.
- Seek guidance for complex design decisions, production risks, or unresolved operational issues.
- Share learnings and support patterns to improve squad capability and service reliability.
Stakeholder Management
- Clarify requirements, support impacts, and acceptance criteria with product leads and stakeholders.
- Provide timely status updates on delivery progress, incidents, risks, and escalations.
- Communicate technical information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
What can you bring to the team?
Firstly, strong sense of responsibility, flexibility, and adaptability to varying request. Demonstrate excellent time management and organisational skills. And as part of a new team, you will have the opportunity to shape this role and have input into how we evolve it over time to WOW our employees and make an even bigger impact on the world. You will also need the following:
- 4+ years of experience in Power Platform development, application design, and support, with the ability to translate business requirements into effective solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, SharePoint, Teams, and Microsoft 365 integration patterns.
- Development experience using JSON, Azure, Microsoft 365, RESTful web services, and Power BI.
- Experience working in the software development lifecycle using an Agile approach.
- Experience using Microsoft Copilot or similar AI tools to enhance Power Platform development productivity is a plus.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines to manage Power Platform solution lifecycle using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub is an advantage.
- Experience estimating required effort for deliverables.
- Able to deliver high complexity changes following agreed designs, standards, testing, and release processes.
- Clear communication, documentation, problem-solving, and stakeholder update skills.
- Accountable, collaborative, and willing to learn while seeking guidance when complexity or risk increases.
