Clarivate is in search of an Executive Assistant to support two of our senior leaders within the Intellectual Property Organization. Utilizing your outstanding communication skills, you will work successfully within a team environment, build effective working relationships, and maintain a comprehensive awareness of the organization. Exhibiting high levels of integrity, professionalism, and discretion, you will be handling confidential information whilst dealing with senior professionals, both internal and external. As this role is for a true self-starter, you will be able to take swift, effective action whilst proactively solving complex problems with little or no guidance.

Working closely with the leaders, you will track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding items while providing seamless support using prioritization of business activities. Being detail-oriented and highly organized in nature, you will manage complex calendar and scheduling requirements, handle travel coordination (both domestic and international) and drive key team activities, such as: staff meeting agendas, all hands meetings, and cyclical events such as annual planning sessions and performance reviews.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments…

  • 5+ years providing high quality administrative support to senior leadership in a fast-paced environment
  • Project management background
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong PowerPoint presentation skills
  • Experience with global travel

It would be great if you also had…

  • Associates degree or higher
  • Proven ability to design and edit accurate, compelling presentations, reports and communication
  • Ability to develop agendas, record and present meeting notes, and drive agreed-upon action plans. 

What will you be doing in this role?...

  • Proactively identifies and acts upon needs and solutions that support the productivity and success of executives
  • Manages processes and tasks that benefit leaders, the department, and the company
  • Designs presentations and develops or procures related materials (i.e., agenda, handouts).
  • Books travel and related needs, ensuring accommodations, meals, local transportation, and other requirements are aligned to the executive’s schedule and preferences
  • Processes expenses, purchasing activity, and time off on behalf of executives
  • Plans events hosted by or on behalf of the executive (i.e., leadership team retreats, client events, development partner meetings and travel)
  • Assists executives in prioritizing demands, inquiries, meeting requests, and communication
  • Shares best practices with peers
  • Anticipates executive needs and provides proactive support aligned with business priorities
  • Develops and maintains systems for tracking priorities and follow‑ups
  • Maintains confidentiality in all matters
  • Supports internal initiatives such as recognition programs or leadership communications
  • Drafts, edits and formats correspondence, reports, and presentations with clarity
  • Monitors the SVP’s inbox during periods of absence, ensuring urgent matters are identified, delegated, or escalated appropriately, and that stakeholders receive timely, professional responses.

About the team

This role will report into the SVP - Brand IP based in Jersey and will also support another of our SVP in our IP Segment.

Working hours

Full-time, permanent role based out of our Jersey office 5 days per week.
