Position Overview

As a Senior Engineering Operations Program Manager within the Consumer PC organization, you will serve as a strategic partner to Engineering leadership, helping drive operational excellence across a global R&D organization.

This role focuses on engineering business operations, resource planning, KPI management, executive reporting, and organizational effectiveness. Working closely with the VP of Engineering and cross-functional stakeholders, you will transform complex engineering, operational, and business data into meaningful insights and compelling narratives that support executive decision-making and investment prioritization.

You will act as a critical bridge between engineering execution and leadership strategy, ensuring that technical accomplishments, organizational priorities, and business outcomes are communicated clearly and effectively to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Engineering leadership to support operational planning, workforce management, and resource allocation across multiple engineering programs and product initiatives.

• Develop and maintain executive KPI dashboards, business reviews, operational scorecards, and performance reports that provide actionable insights to leadership.

• Create executive-level presentations, strategic updates, and organizational review materials that clearly communicate engineering progress, priorities, risks, opportunities, and business impact.

• Translate complex engineering initiatives, project milestones, and operational metrics into concise, compelling narratives tailored for Director, VP, and executive audiences.

• Coordinate reporting frameworks and business review processes across global Consumer PC R&D organizations to improve consistency, visibility, and decision-making quality.

• Support engineering leadership in monitoring resource utilization, budget alignment, investment priorities, and organizational performance to enable effective planning and execution.

• Identify trends, process improvement opportunities, operational risks, and resource constraints, recommending actions that improve organizational effectiveness and execution efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Operations, Analytics, or a related field, with 10+ years of experience in Engineering Operations, Business Operations, Strategic PMO, Technical Program Management, Management Consulting, or a related function.

• Demonstrated experience supporting operational planning, resource management, KPI reporting, and business reviews within large-scale technology or R&D organizations.

• Exceptional executive communication, presentation development, and storytelling skills, including advanced PowerPoint expertise and the ability to synthesize complex information into clear and compelling business narratives.

• Proven experience partnering with Director, VP, or executive-level stakeholders and communicating effectively across technical and business audiences.

• Professional proficiency in English and Mandarin, with experience working across global and cross-cultural teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Engineering, Product Development, Consumer Electronics, PC, Hardware, Software, Platform, or Cloud organizations.

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, Scrum practices, OKRs, and New Product Development (NPD) processes.

• Experience using data visualization and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent platforms.

• Familiarity with engineering planning and project management tools, including Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar systems.

• Experience preparing executive business reviews, organizational planning materials, or VP-level operational presentations.
