Senior Engineer — Senior Full Stack Developer  

Role Overview

The Senior Full‑Stack Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and supporting complex software systems and services that directly impact business operations. The role works collaboratively with cross‑functional teams — including Product, Platform, Infrastructure, Security, DevOps, and External Vendors — to deliver secure, high‑quality, and scalable solutions in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take hands‑on ownership of medium‑ to high‑complexity features and services in collaboration with product, platform, infrastructure, and security teams.
  • Design, code, test, integrate, deploy, and support working software components.
  • Develop & Integrate RESTful APIs and microservices supporting retail operations.
  • Integrate with POS systems, payment gateways, inventory systems, and ERP platforms.
  • Author and review detailed functional and technical design documents, incorporating performance, security, scalability, availability, and operability considerations.
  • Establish and continually improve engineering standards, development processes, and best practices to drive quality, consistency, and delivery efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers/Analysts, vendors, and DevOps teams.
  • Design and optimize SQL databases to support high-volume retail transactions.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of COTS applications—including evaluation, implementation, integration, upgrades, patches, customizations, maintenance, and retirement—while ensuring performance, scalability, and security standards are met. 
  • Follow secure coding practices, ensuring data protection standards, API Protection, Data Encryption and Secure Communication and PCI compliance.
  • Apply DevSecOps principles throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Manage pipeline dependencies, retries, scheduling, and failure handling; implement robust monitoring and alerting for data operations. 
  • High sense of ownership, accountability, and customer service mindset.
  • Experience working in global teams across the US, India, UK, and Australia.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Expert-level knowledge and hands-on experience with:
    • C#, .NET Core / .NET 8, ASP.NET Core Web API, Blazor
    • React or Angular
    • Azure: Azure App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure API Management
    • Azure SQL / SQL Server
    • ETL: ADF, SQL
    • CI/CD: Jenkins, ADO, GitHub Actions
    • Security: OWASP, ISO27001, IAM, Encryption
    • API Development: REST/event-driven, Postman, Apigee
    • Project Collaboration: JIRA, Confluence
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to development teams. 
  • Contribute to roadmap strategy, aligning technology initiatives with business objectives and long-term goals. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience in retail systems, e-commerce platforms, or FMCG technology. 
  • Certifications in Azure (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect). 
  • Exposure to Android Mobile Application, Android MDM and SOTI platform is highly desirable
  • Exposure to Oracle PL/SQL is desirable.
