Overview         

The Senior Engineer – Civil Infrastructure is a leadership-focused engineering role responsible for delivering high-quality civil infrastructure designs, conducting technical reviews, and ensuring compliance with project requirements. The position involves overseeing calculations, drawings, specifications, and coordinating design activities across multiple engineering disciplines.

Your role

• Technical responsibility for engineering design delivery.
• Undertake peer design reviews on projects.
• Review calculations, drawings, specifications on projects.
• Project Management and Design Management of our consultancy services, delivering projects to time and to budget.
• Management and technical development of our capabilities and individual Engineers.
• Co-ordination, collaboration and management of other discipline inputs into projects.
• Identify opportunities, lead and support business development and work winning / bidding activities.
• Establish, develop and maintain relationships with key existing and prospective clients.
• Act as design and interface coordinator stationing on site as needed basis.

About you

• Chartered Engineer with a degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Registered Professional Engineer (Civil/Structural) would be an advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years of post-professional qualification experience.
• Have experience of, and a strong interest in Infrastructure projects.
• Excellent project management and/or design management skills.
• Have an excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Experience with Government or Quasi-government projects would be an advantage.
• Candidates having more experience will be considered as Principal Engineer.
