About the Role
Reporting to the VP, FP&A, the Director, GTM Finance owns Raptor’s topline planning, forecasting, and reporting—from bookings and ARR through the Sales and Marketing investments that drive growth. Serving as the primary finance business partner to GTM leadership across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, this leader owns and defends the bookings, ARR, and revenue forecast; translates GTM performance into actionable insights for the Board and sponsors; and turns pipeline, retention, and unit economics into clear decisions about where to invest the next dollar of go-to-market spend.
Supported by a dedicated Senior Financial Analyst focused on topline, the Director is the single finance owner of the GTM P&L and is accountable for connecting GTM strategy, financial performance, and resource allocation.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Topline P&L & GTM Business Partnership
- Build and maintain the full GTM P&L, connecting bookings, ARR, revenue, and the Sales & Marketing investment required to drive growth
- Serve as finance business partner to the Sales, Marketing, and Customer Operations departments, bringing the financial lens to pipeline, sales capacity, pricing, and go-to-market investments
- Build and Maintain unit economics (CAC, LTV, payback, magic number) and the analysis behind the ROI of GTM spend
Forecasting & Planning
- Build and maintain the bookings, ARR, and revenue forecast, reconciling top-down expectations with bottom-up operating assumptions and confidently defending the outlook
- Drive topline planning across the annual operating plan, monthly reforecast, and rolling long-range plan
- Run scenario analysis across growth, retention, and capacity to inform decisions and surface risks early
Reporting, KPIs & board materials
- Own the Finance section of the board package; deliver the weekly topline and KPI eporting required by leadership
- Build and maintain the revenue and retention KPI framework (bookings, ARR walk, GRR/NRR, sales efficiency) as well as governed definitions
- Prepare ad-hoc analysis for the VP, CFO, and PE sponsor as needed
Modeling, Data & Team
- Own the revenue, bookings/ARR, and pipeline models; lead the Senior Financial Analyst responsible for their development and maintenance
- Champion topline data quality; partner with Business Systems on the bookings-to-ARR data foundation supporting the forecast
Support M&A integration initiatives impacting the topline, including customer, bookings, ARR, and revenue normalization
Qualifications:
- 10+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, or revenue finance, with direct topline/revenue ownership
- Thrives in high-growth, fast-paced environments, comfortable with change and building where the structure is still forming
- Deep command of subscription/ARR economics (bookings, billings, ARR/MRR, GRR/NRR, CAC/LTV), ideally in SaaS
- Exceptional financial modeling; fluency with NetSuite and FP&A planning tools
- Executive communication: distills complex data into decision-ready insight, and builds consensus across GTM and finance
- Experience utilizing AI to increase efficiency and effectiveness is strongly preferred
- Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or Business
