JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Summary:

The Senior Director, Client Financial Services is responsible for end-to-end revenue cycle management, operational performance, data integrity, and financial
outcomes of Client Financial Services within an assigned Electronic Health Record (EHR) platform. This role ensures revenue cycle data is
accurate, reliable, and suitable for accounting, month-end close, forecasting, audits, and state and regulatory reporting.
The Senior Director executes enterprise revenue cycle strategy and standards established by the Vice President, Client Financial Services,
while maintaining direct accountability for EHR-specific performance, cash flow predictability, and early identification of financial risk.

Essential Job Functions:

• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability of all Client Financial Services data within the assigned EHR
• Certify EHR data readiness for month-end close, financial reporting, and audits
• Manage configuration and utilization of state-specific funding, grants, and restricted resources
• Ensure accurate calculation and application of contractual allowances, bad debt, and other reserves
• Provide variance analysis and explanations for allowance and revenue changes
• Drive performance improvements in Accounts Receivable aging and Days in A/R
• Lead initiatives to improve clean claim rates and payer responsiveness
• Develop forward-looking projections and cash flow analysis
• Identify and escalate emerging reimbursement, operational, or policy-related risks
• Lead, coach, and develop EHR-aligned Client Financial Services teams
• Partner with Finance, IT, Data, and Clinical leadership to optimize workflows and systems
• Serve as escalation point for complex payer, system, or operational issues

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Advanced knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle operations and reimbursement
• Strong understanding of EHR configuration and downstream financial impact
• High level of financial, analytical, and forecasting expertise
• Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights
• Strong leadership, communication, and change management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a complex, multi-entity environment

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, finance, business, or related field required
• Master’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 7–10 years progressive revenue cycle leadership experience
• Demonstrated experience owning financial performance within a complex EHR environment.
• Experience in multi-entity or state-funded healthcare systems preferred.

Physical Requirements
Sedentary work involving sitting most of the time with occasional standing or walking.
