The Role:
Entegris is currently seeking a Senior Director, Business Operations to join our Molecular Engineered Solutions business unit. This position will be based in Danbury, with global scope responsibilities. In this role, you will drive profitable growth and operational excellence for MES by translating strategy into execution, governing critical business processes, improving business performance, and ensuring cross-functional alignment across commercial, operations, supply chain, technology, and finance.
What You’ll Do:
Business Operating Cadence: Own the management system that drives execution, accountability, and performance transparency across the MES business.
Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews, including preparation of executive reporting packages and follow-up action tracking.
Support development and ongoing management of KPI scorecards to monitor business performance and operational health.
Drive accountability against AOP and SLRP objectives by tracking strategic initiatives, decisions, risks, and action-item closure.
Coordinate leadership team operating rhythms to ensure priorities, commitments, and cross-functional dependencies remain aligned.
Strategic Planning and Portfolio Governance: Serve as the central coordinator for medium- and long-term business planning, portfolio governance, and investment prioritization.
Facilitate SLRP and annual operating planning processes in partnership with commercial, operations, technology, supply chain, and finance leaders.
Support cross-SBU portfolio strategy discussions and help translate strategic priorities into executable plans.
Lead investment prioritization reviews, including alignment of resources, business cases, and expected value creation.
Coordinate capital planning and governance, ensuring visibility to key decisions, risks, tradeoffs, and execution milestones.
Track strategic growth initiatives and provide leadership with disciplined updates on progress, barriers, and required decisions.
Commercial and Growth Enablement: Provide business insights, governance, and cross-functional coordination that improve growth execution and commercial performance.
Support opportunity pipeline reviews, sales operations processes, revenue forecasting, and opportunity management governance.
Develop commercial performance analytics that provide visibility to growth trends, forecast accuracy, risks, and execution gaps.
Ensure customer escalations receive appropriate business visibility, ownership, and follow-through across functions.
Resolve ownership and accountability gaps that span multiple functions and cannot be effectively addressed within a single organization.
Align regional, operational, and commercial leaders around shared priorities, business commitments, and execution plans.
Strategic Projects: Lead select BU-critical strategic initiatives that advance business transformation, operational effectiveness, and long-term growth.
Lead SBU strategy transformation initiatives from concept through execution, ensuring clear scope, governance, milestones, and stakeholder alignment.
Support M&A opportunities and related business integration activities as needed, including coordination of inputs, diligence support, planning, and execution readiness.
What we seek:
Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Business, or related technical field); MBA or advanced degree preferred.
15+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations / finance, business operations, or supply chain within highly regulated, global environments.
Proven success leading enterprise scale transformation programs, capital planning, and cross functional initiatives.
Demonstrated expertise in SLRP, AOP, CAPEX governance, and operational finance integration.
Ability to operate effectively in a highly matrixed, global organization, influencing outcomes without direct authority.
Executive presence with the ability to communicate clearly with senior leaders, customers, and external stakeholders.
Willingness to travel up to 25% to support global manufacturing sites and strategic initiatives.

Compensation: $187,000.00-$266,500.00 a year range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
