This job oversees the implementation and optimization of digital content marketing initiatives. This job manages Thought Leader and Brand Ambassador programs, drives online content strategy for the programs and collaborates with executive-level leaders on thought leadership content and social presence. The role drafts, builds and edits web content; drafts and posts social media posts and short-form videos; moderates and manages social media channels; tracks analytics and user behavior; supports system brand and online marketing initiatives; supports system service-line web, social media and discoverability; participates in the strategic planning process for clients; and assists or oversees special projects and initiatives. The individual must live in New Orleans or the greater New Orleans area as in-person attendance at trainings, meetings and events is required.

Education

Required – Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising, writing, digital media or related field.

 

Work Experience

Required – 5 years of experience in web management and content creation.

Preferred – 5 years of experience in content creation for web, content management systems (CMS), social media and Google Analytics.

Preferred – 5 years experience creating and managing content for social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. LinkedIn experience is ideal.

 

Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

• • Experience ghost-writing for C-suite executives and other physician and department thought leaders
  • Expertise with major social channels including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and X and their analytics capabilities.
  • Strong writing and editing skills and knowledge of Associated Press (AP) style.
  • Experience with social scheduling tools (Sprout Social, Hootsuite, etc.)
  • Experience with search engine and answer engine optimization (SEO and GEO/AEO) tools (Moz, SemRush, Brightedge, etc.)
  • Experience filming and editing short-form videos for social media
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout health system.
  • High proficiency with personal computers and corresponding software programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Suite, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premier, Adobe Illustrator), content management systems, social media channels, video editing and Google Analytics.
  • Advanced project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use logic to formulate solutions to problems.
  • Knowledge of user experience (UX)/user interface (UI) design and search engine optimization to produce accurate, high-quality work.
  • Strong people skills – ability to collaborate with others, take feedback and propose solutions.

 

Job Duties

• • Manages Thought Leader and Brand Ambassador programs, including in-person trainings and events for program participants
  • Drives online content strategy in areas of focus to increase digital engagement and online performance across multiple channels and provide measurable marketing return on investment.
  • Drafts, edits and proofreads online marketing materials, including copy and short-form video for website, social media and blog while maintaining consistency with brand or sub-branding guidelines.
  • Manages LinkedIn and other social media channels
  • Partners and aligns with Communications team on Thought Leadership program
  • Collaborates with brand, design and video teams and/or manages external vendor partners on creative ideas and design options, functionality, implementation and content within brand guidelines.
  • Analyzes data and user behavior and tracks outcomes to determine marketing impact and improve online user experience to deliver return on investment (ROI) and report out insights to leadership and internal stakeholders.
  • Participates in the strategic planning process for clients and assists or oversees projects, web builds, video editing, social media campaigns, email marketing and advertising tracking.
  • Manages special web projects and initiatives to improve user experience, speed and technology of web platforms.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
