Team Overview
OneTru Platform (Data Management) The team develops scalable data management and onboarding capabilities that help Users efficiently onboard, manage, and leverage data across the OneTru ecosystem. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.Role Overview And Core Responsibilities
Role Overview
As a Software Engineer, you will work closely with Engineering Managers and Product Teams to build scalable, high-performance applications that integrate seamlessly with enterprise platforms and data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver high-quality, production-ready backend services using modern software engineering practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that address business and technical requirements.
- Drive application scalability, reliability, and performance through innovative design and continuous improvement.
- Apply a test-driven development approach, ensuring robust code quality, maintainability, and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges across the application stack.
- Contribute to architectural decisions, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and bring innovative ideas that enhance product capabilities and developer productivity.
Required Knowledge And Experiences
We are looking for a Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience in building scalable, cloud-native services.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and microservices architecture.
- Experience in application design, development, testing, debugging, and security vulnerability remediation.
- Good understanding of Snowflake, Apache Iceberg, and modern data platforms.
- Experience with AWS and/or GCP cloud services.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Harness) and source control tools such as Git/Gerrit.
- Working knowledge of Spark, Python, BigQuery, SQL, and NoSQL databases is desirable.
- Experience incorporating AI/ML or Generative AI capabilities into applications is a strong plus.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
