Job Description & Summary

At PwC, our people in business application consulting specialise in consulting services for a variety of business applications, helping clients optimise operational efficiency. These individuals analyse client needs, implement software solutions, and provide training and support for seamless integration and utilisation of business applications, enabling clients to achieve their strategic objectives.

As a SAP consulting generalist at PwC, you will focus on providing consulting services across various SAP applications to clients, analysing their needs, implementing software solutions, and offering training and support for effective utilisation of SAP applications. Your versatile knowledge will allow you to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency and achieving their strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage SAP PP module implementation projects.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP PP specifications.
• Configure and customize SAP PP functionalities to meet business needs.
• Provide expert guidance and solutions related to production planning, manufacturing, and material requirements planning processes.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other SAP modules and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and process optimization.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to the SAP PP module.
• Prepare documentation, including business process flows, configuration guides, functional specifications, and user manuals.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP PP advancements and recommend improvements.

Mandatory Skill Sets:

• Extensive experience and proficiency in SAP PP configuration and customization.
• Strong understanding of production planning, manufacturing processes, material requirements planning, capacity planning, and shop-floor control.
• Ability to analyze complex business scenarios and provide effective SAP PP solutions.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or other SAP versions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skill Sets:

• Experience with the integration of SAP PP with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, QM, PM, and FI/CO.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori applications related to production planning and manufacturing.
• Understanding of ABAP programming for debugging and minor enhancements.
• Experience with discrete manufacturing, repetitive manufacturing, or process manufacturing.
• Previous experience in a leadership or project management role within SAP PP projects.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Years of Experience Required:

Typically, 5–7 years of experience working with the SAP PP module.

Education Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.

SAP PP certification is a plus.
