Senior BIM Specialist
Abu Dhabi, UAE
Parsons is seeking a talented Senior BIM Specialist to join our Design team in Abu Dhabi, supporting major infrastructure projects.
In this role, you will develop and maintain detailed BIM models, support multidisciplinary coordination, and deliver accurate, compliant, and efficient digital engineering solutions across complex infrastructure projects.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Develop and maintain BIM models for structural and infrastructure projects.
Ensure models comply with project standards, design requirements, and BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
Perform model coordination, clash detection, and quality reviews.
Support Common Data Environment (CDE) workflows and ensure model data accuracy and compliance.
Produce BIM deliverables, drawings, and model data for project teams and stakeholders.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support efficient design office project delivery.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior BIM team members.
Support BIM workflows, automation, and model optimization using industry best practices.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
Minimum 10 years of BIM modelling experience, preferably on structural or infrastructure projects.
Strong hands-on experience with Revit, BIM 360/ACC, Dynamo, and AutoCAD.
Civil 3D knowledge is an advantage.
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Strong understanding of BIM standards, QA/QC processes and CDE workflows (e.g. ProjectWise).
Ability to manage complex modelling tasks and deliver within project schedules.
What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:
Strong background in major bridges, tunnels, and pump station projects.
Experience in design consultancy environments.
BIM certification is an advantage.
Familiarity with BIM coordination, automation, and multidisciplinary workflows.
