We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer specializing in Java to join our R&D team and play a key role in designing, building, and scaling our enterprise-grade platform.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Play an integral role in building our dynamic and versatile ecosystem, from technical design through development and deployment.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based services within a microservices architecture.

• Take part in implementing and expanding our proprietary APIs, which are used by numerous enterprise clients.

• Continuously develop and improve backend services supporting our existing web and mobile applications.

• Take ownership of features throughout the entire software development lifecycle.

• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, product managers, and architects to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions.

• Research and integrate cutting-edge technologies that improve the platform’s scalability, performance, and reliability.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.

Required Skills and Experience

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• 5+ years of professional software development experience using Java.

• Experience designing and developing REST APIs and backend services.

• Experience developing SaaS products based on a microservices architecture.

• Experience working with relational databases and SQL.

• Experience with Docker, including containers, images, and Docker Compose.

• Strong understanding of software design principles, clean code, and testing.

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience with AWS services, particularly S3 and EC2.

• Experience with managed infrastructure services such as Redis, OpenSearch, and SQS.

• Experience with Angular or React and CSS/SCSS.

• Experience with Leaflet, Ionic, or Capacitor.

• Experience with GIS systems or geospatial data.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based production environments.
