About this Senior Associate – Salesforce Lead role at Aldar

JOB PURPOSE
Run the Salesforce platform day-to-day: the delivery pipeline, release discipline and platform health behind the Group's commercial operations, working alongside the Salesforce Practice Architect and the outsourced Solutions Factory.
Convert the commercial platform strategy set by the Senior Vice President – Salesforce & Commercial Platforms into delivered, adopted capability: managing the backlog, orchestrating the Solutions Factory and protecting platform quality as commercial instances are consolidated across entities.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Platform Delivery Leadership:
Lead Salesforce initiatives and enhancements end-to-end through the outsourced Solutions Factory model.
Own the platform backlog: intake, prioritization with the Senior Vice President, specification, testing and release.
Enforce disciplined release management across Salesforce environments.
Business Engagement:
Work with commercial business teams across the Group and subsidiaries to translate requirements into platform solutions.
Manage delivery expectations and communicate progress transparently to business stakeholders.
Platform Standards & Quality:
Apply and enforce design and configuration standards defined with the Salesforce Practice Architect.
Ensure quality of Solutions Factory output: code review discipline, test coverage and environment hygiene.
Align all changes with Group architecture, security and integration standards.
Consolidation & Adoption:
Support the consolidation of fragmented Salesforce instances and capabilities into the standardized Group estate.
Monitor platform health, license utilization and user adoption; act on gaps.
Coordinate with Group Digital teams when digital products interact with Salesforce.
Operations Support:
Manage escalated incidents and service requests to resolution with Technology Operations and managed services.
Protect the stability of commercial operations during releases and platform changes.
What This Role Is Not:
Not a hands-on development role; build capacity sits with the Solutions Factory.
Not the platform strategy owner; strategy and vendor relationships are owned by the Senior Vice President.
This role keeps the Group's Salesforce platform delivering, release after release.
RELATED YEAR OF EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 8+ years in Salesforce delivery roles, including leading delivery through partners or outsourced models.
FIELD OF EXPERIENCE
Salesforce Sales and Service clouds and platform configuration
Release management, environment strategy and quality assurance on Salesforce
Multi-entity experience is an advantage
TECHNICAL AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
Delivery-driven; converts strategy into shipped, adopted capability
Firm on quality and release discipline, including with external delivery partners
Clear communicator with business stakeholders; translates platform detail into business terms
Works effectively in a triangle with the Practice Architect and the Solutions Factory
QUALIFICATION
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required
Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Platform App Builder or Architect track) are strongly preferred
