As a Senior Associate - Finance Transformation – Target Operating Model, you will be at the forefront of transforming financial operations for our clients. Within our Finance practice, you will specialize in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of financial processes, offering strategic guidance to optimize financial performance and decision-making. Your role will involve assessing financial operations, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to streamline processes, enhance controls, and reduce costs.

As a Senior Associate, you will leverage your skills to analyze complex problems and mentor others while maintaining professional standards. You will focus on building meaningful client relationships and developing a deeper understanding of the business context. Navigating increasingly complex situations, you will grow your personal brand and deepen your technical skills. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality solutions even when the path forward is not clear.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will collaborate with visionary leaders and work closely with clients across various sectors, including finance, technology, and health. Your contributions will be pivotal in advising and collaborating with clients to solve their most pressing challenges through innovative digital solutions.

Responsibilities

- Finance Transformation: Experience in finance function transformation, process optimization, shared services/GBS transformation, and finance operating model initiatives.

- Target Operating Model (TOM) & Transition Management: Experience designing and implementing future-state operating models, transition planning, governance, and operational readiness.

- Financial Modelling & Business Case Development: Ability to build financial models, perform cost-benefit analysis, develop business cases, and support strategic decision-making.

- Analyzing financial processes to identify areas for improvement and streamline operations
- Developing and implementing financial solutions to enhance decision-making and optimize performance
- Utilizing data-driven analysis to provide actionable insights into workforce structures
- Supporting the creation of organizational designs using organization modeling software like Orgvue
- Designing and developing data visualizations and dashboards with tools such as Power BI
- Leveraging advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and business case development
- Assisting in the design of future-state operating models and role profiles aligned with strategic objectives
- Contributing to transition management activities to facilitate smooth implementation of changes
- Employing automation tools for data analysis and reporting to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Collaborating with clients to address their most pressing challenges through innovative digital solutions

What You Must Have

- MBA (Finance), CA, CPA, CMA, or ICWA qualification with excellent stakeholder management, consulting, project management, and communication skills.

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 4 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

- Experience in Workforce Planning, Organization Design, and Global Transformation programs.

- Exposure to Integration Management Office (IMO), M&A integration, Day 1 readiness, and large-scale transformation governance.

- Experience leveraging AI, Automation, and OrgVue for finance activity assessment, workforce analytics, operating model assessment, and transformation decision-making.

- Utilizing advanced Excel skills for financial modeling
- Developing compelling data visualizations with Power BI
