Join Luminance as a Senior Engineer and help build our Contract Intelligence platform, turning the knowledge in business contracts into insight that teams can act on.

Our web-based SaaS platform helps enterprise teams understand risk, manage obligations and make better decisions across their business. You’ll solve complex engineering challenges in a growing company, building features used by customers across the enterprise. Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects from discovery and design through delivery and ongoing improvement.
• Build and maintain customer-facing features for our web-based SaaS platform.
• Work with product, design and engineering colleagues to solve customer problems across the contract lifecycle.
• Make pragmatic technical decisions that balance delivery speed, product quality and maintainability.
• Contribute to reliable, secure and well-tested software.
• Take ownership of technical decisions and follow through on outcomes.
• Help troubleshoot production issues and support platform reliability, including participating in on-call duties.
• Mentor colleagues, share knowledge and help the team deliver effectively.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial software engineering experience, with 8–10 years preferred, including ownership and delivery of significant projects or product areas.
• Experience building and operating customer-facing web-based SaaS products.
• Experience with TypeScript and React, or comparable languages and frontend frameworks, alongside server-side development. Our stack includes Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL, Redis and Elasticsearch.
• Practical use of AI coding agents to improve engineering productivity, including coordinating multiple agents on parallel tasks.
• Experience participating in on-call rotations and diagnosing and resolving production issues.
• A track record of delivering software at pace while maintaining appropriate standards for reliability and maintainability.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to make thoughtful technical decisions and support other engineers.
