Senior Analyst, Third Party Services, NA
AXIS is seeking a Senior Analyst, Third Party Services to join the Claims Shared Services organization. Reporting to the Head of Claims Third Party Delegated Services, this role provides operational, administrative and analytical support for North America delegated claims governance, third-party service oversight of non-legal claim vendors, audit coordination, documentation management and performance reporting.
The role supports the execution of governance activities across North America Programs TPAs and non-legal third-party service providers by maintaining inventories, coordinating reviews, producing management information, supporting due diligence activities, maintaining documentation and tracking remediation actions.
The successful candidate will work closely with Claims Third Party Management, matrix closely with Underwriting Operations, Program Managers, Claims Leadership, Compliance, QA, Legal, Vendor Management and service providers to ensure governance activities are delivered consistently and documented appropriately.
This is a hands-on execution role focused on coordination, reporting, documentation and operational support rather than governance ownership or strategic vendor management.
The Successful Candidate Will Be Responsible For
TPA Governance Administration & Coordination
- Support North America TPA inventories, governance records and relationship documentation.
- Support coordination and collection of onboarding, renewal and offboarding documentation.
- Support governance review meetings and maintain meeting documentation.
- Track completion of required governance activities and action items.
- Maintain TPA governance calendars and review schedules.
- Coordinate stakeholder inputs required for governance reviews and assessments.
Due Diligence & Audit Support
- Assemble and organize documentation required for due diligence reviews.
- Maintain audit evidence repositories and supporting documentation.
- Track audit findings, remediation activities and implementation status.
- Support preparation of materials for internal audit, compliance and regulatory reviews.
- Maintain records of governance approvals, assessments and supporting evidence.
- Assist with periodic governance reporting and documentation reviews.
Performance Reporting & Management Information
- Produce recurring TPA and vendor performance reports.
- Maintain scorecard data, KPI reporting and service tracking metrics.
- Assist in preparation of management reporting packages.
- Support analysis of service performance trends and exception reporting.
- Track service level performance and remediation commitments.
- Maintain governance dashboards and reporting repositories.
Third Party Service Oversight Support
- Support administration of governance activities for non-legal service providers supporting Claims.
- Maintain vendor contact lists, service inventories and governance records.
- Coordinate information requests between business stakeholders and vendors.
- Track service review meetings, actions and follow-up items.
- Support documentation of vendor performance discussions and agreed actions.
- Assist in maintaining service governance standards and supporting documentation.
Documentation & Process Management
- Develop and maintain governance procedures, operating guides and process documentation.
- Organize document repositories and version control processes.
- Coordinate updates to governance templates, checklists and standards documentation.
- Maintain governance evidence and records retention requirements.
- Support preparation of presentations and leadership materials.
- Ensure documentation remains current and audit ready.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate activities across Claims, Programs, Underwriting Operations, QA, Compliance, Legal and Vendor Management.
- Support information gathering for governance reviews and vendor assessments.
- Maintain action logs, issue trackers and governance review records.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders involved in governance activities.
- Support implementation of governance initiatives and process enhancements.
- Assist with special projects relating to delegated claims and third-party service governance.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in insurance operations, claims operations, delegated authority, vendor management support, compliance, auditing, business operations or governance-related roles.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and documentation discipline.
- Experience preparing reports, scorecards and management information.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams and SharePoint.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Experience supporting audits, compliance reviews, vendor governance or operational oversight activities preferred.
- Knowledge of claims operations, delegated claims administration or program business preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
For this position, we currently expect to offer a base salary in the range of X to Y (NY), [X to Y (GA), X to Y (CA)]. Your salary offer will be based on an assessment of a variety of factors including your specific experience and work location.
