Role Summary

ADI is building a global operating model for its Samples Program, which gives customers prototype products to evaluate and design in. This newly created role will own that program end to end. You will set the policies, process standards, inventory strategy and analytics that make sampling scalable, digitally controlled and consistently run worldwide.

You'll work with Channel, Sales, IT, Finance and external partners, and you'll present to senior leadership. The role suits an analyst with a background in operations, planning, inventory or process improvement who is ready to take ownership of a high-visibility global program, using SAP and business systems to drive results.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Program Ownership & Governance

  • Establish and run the global governance framework for free-of-charge samples.
  • Own sample eligibility rules and approval logic.
  • Ensure consistent policy execution across all sample request channels.
  • Prevent misuse of the program and keep it focused on prototyping.

Inventory & Replenishment

  • Own the inventory fill process and meet the 98% in-stock target.
  • Optimize consignment inventory availability and replenishment visibility.
  • Build predictive replenishment models to improve sample availability.

Process Standardization & Adoption

  • Make ADI Sample Center the default entry point for all sample requests.
  • Reduce manual and inbox-driven workflows, touches and recurring escalations.
  • Define process ownership, escalation paths, operating cadence and an exception-handling framework.
  • Oversee the day-to-day execution team, covering sample booking, order creation, approvals, compliance holds, delivery issues, returns and expedites. Run regular reviews of workload, issue trends, capacity and service levels.

Automation & Systems

  • Reduce manual intervention through workflow automation and system controls.
  • Define business requirements for eligibility and approval logic.
  • Integrate sample activity with lead and opportunity systems.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Build visibility into sample usage, inventory availability and reorder backlog.
  • Define KPIs, reporting standards and governance dashboards.
  • Turn data into clear recommendations for Channel, Sales and leadership.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in channel operations, supply chain or demand planning, business operations, program management, process improvement or a related field.
  • Experience with SAP/S4HANA and business systems.
  • Experience owning KPIs and delivering measurable operational improvements.
  • Strong process, policy and controls experience, including exception management.
  • Analytical, data-driven approach, with advanced Excel and dashboarding tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, IT, Channel Operations, Finance and external partners.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, including clear process documentation and executive-ready updates.

Preferred

  • Experience leading cross-functional IT or systems implementations.
  • Experience reducing manual work and driving adoption of new operating models.
  • Semiconductor or high-tech experience.
  • Master's degree.
