Job Duties

Performs all security and transportation duties as needed.  Protects and ensures the safety of guests and employees. Safeguards company assets-monetary and otherwise. Supervises all security officers and valet attendants in assigned areas, on the floor, in valet, in shuttles and in track areas. Provides support to all officers and attendants handling incidents.  Detains persons who may be involved in illegal acts for the purpose of notifying the law enforcement authorities.  Investigates and records all unusual occurrences and incidents within the gaming facility and maintains in a manner prescribed by management.  Responsible for participating in the training of officers and attendants. Performs other related duties as assigned. Reports directly to Security & Transportation Shift Manager.  Must possess excellent inter-personal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.    Promotes superior guest service

Minimum Qualifications

Two years of experience as a security officer in a high volume, complex casino environment, or three years’ experience in security or law enforcement outside of the casino industry with report writing experience. Positive attitude with a “can-do” mentality. Candidate can demonstrate a proactive approach to addressing concerns and is receptive to new methods of embracing challenge. This position requires above average interpersonal skills and involves frequent customer contact.
